I bought IOPE Bio Essence Intensive Conditioning a while ago, when my skin was in need of deep help and this was advised to me by one of the store workers, since it matched well with the line of products I was using at the time. I must say, the price set a knife through my heart, since I got it as soon as it came out I paid full price. And at first I did not see any difference, but after using it for a little over three full months I am finally ready to comment on this item.
Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence Review:
Korean beauty is pretty much flooded with snail containing products. Being the amateur kbeauty fan that I am then, I just grab whatever is main stream. Mass production means high demand, after all.
Now, I don’t know about you but I am honestly not grossed out by the thought of putting snail goo all over my face so when the snail train passed by, I jumped instantly. Luckily, my skin doesn’t have any negative reactions with snail products so I just grab them whenever one piques my curiosity. Naturally, my inquisitive eyes did not miss Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence.
Innisfree Jeju Lava Sea Water Deep Essence Review:
So, I have been in a struggle for a few months, trying to get rid of my blemishes and trying to normalize my pores’ shapes (they’re supposed to be round, but mine have all sorts of shapes). According to an examination I did in the Innisfree store, where they measure your skin everything-levels, my blemishes and pores could be solved with one of two essences. This one, or the one from the orchid collection. So, for starters I chose Innisfree Jeju Lava Sea Water Deep Essence.
Just to break the suspense, it did work, but I will still try the other one, in case it works better for my specific case. Below I will analyze the essence independently of my skin goal, and focusing solely on the feeling and sensation, also the effects of this essence!
Cosrx Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence Review:
I remember it well when I first encountered essence –it was in the summer of 2013 that I went to South Korea to spend my Holy Week vacation. My best friend and I were shopping for BB Creams (Yes, it was the talk of the town around that time!) and you know how Koreans are so generous, they take their GWP’s very seriously. I ended up coming home with a bunch of essence samples! Initially, I thought essence is pretty much like moisturizer.
I had to do some research to understand the art of Korean skincare and it sure did take some time for me to embrace THE CONCEPT. Admittedly, I’ve been using one on and off since then. It is only recently that I am being obsessed to achieve that chok chok skin. I want my essence to have a brightening effect not simply moisturizing. I was in search for one but I don’t really want to spend that much for a product, hey I can be frugal sometimes. COSRX is a brand that I can get my hands on easily and definitely won’t burn my pocket so I tried their Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power Essence.
Nature Republic Rose Real Nature Ampoule Review:
Nature Republic, to me, is a surprising company since you can find good quality products for every type of skin, for a very appealing price! Not to mention, their discounts are very friendly. As an online member living in Korea I have the chance to participate every month in the Shake Box event, where you can buy a box of, basically, way cheaper products (even though they literally have the same boxes every month, it’s still a pretty good deal). So, I was not aiming for this particular item, but since I got it I decided to try it. I mean, it is made out of rose, if that doesn’t appeal to you… then you’re probably not European 😀 But I do love me some rose products. Now, you should know there are two real nature ampoules for every scent, one with oil and one without – this one is without oil so think of it as a rich essence.
Did I mention it comes in a glass bottle? It’s lovely just looking at it.
Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence Review:
Winter is generally not a good time for my skin. I have combination skin and patches of it get extremely dry when the weather outside is so cold. Essences are a must for me. They are basically a lighter and less concentrated version of a serum. I tend to use essences over serums because I find serums to be too thick and sometimes they take a long time to absorb into the skin.
I have already made a post on toners without Hyaluronic acid and alcohol. In this post I listed essences, serums and ampoules that has no hyaluronic acid and alcohol. I have not included first treatment essences in this list. Continue reading to find which products are made into the list.
LJH Tea Tree 90 Essence Review:
I was casually browsing around blogs, and I saw a big sale of LJH brand on Hkcplaza.com (ships from Singapore). Products that were usually quite expensive were now being sold for around 9 to 15€. I quickly read few reviews about most popular product Tea Tree Essence and decided that this is the essence I was looking for. So I ordered it just few minutes before it was sold out (I’ve got it for 9€, usual price is 31€).
