[REVIEW] Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition

Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition Review

Holika Holika Peko Pure Essence Jelly Mask Sheet Strawberry Sweet Peko Edition Review:

I think I’ve just met the cutest collaboration from Holika Holika! Last month, the Korean beauty brand, Holika Holika, launched a collaboration with the cute and cheerful Japanese character, Peko Chan – a lip-licking girl with pigtails (a popular mascot from Fujiya Co). It’s Holika Holika X Peko collection!

As guessed, I was extremely excited when saw Holika Holika’s feeds on Instagram about this cute collection. They launched Sweet Milky Peko edition for their Hard Cover Cushion, Water Drop Tint Bomb, Eyeshadow Palette, No Sebum Pact, Melty Jelly Lipbalm, Blusher, and many more. They even have cute Milky Peko beauty tools like Bun Puff, Cushion Puff, Nail Fit Sticker and more. Everything is cute overload in this special collaboration. And, of course, they easily got my attention as I am a sucker for cute things.

The first product I tried from this collection was the jelly mask sheet. Aside from its cute packaging, I actually wanted to know about how this jelly mask sheet works. I think it’s my first time trying out a mask sheet with jelly essence type. So, let’s meet and play with the cute Peko, our forever-6-year-old friend!

[REVIEW] Neogence N3 Mandelic Acid Refining Mask

Neogence N3 Mandelic Acid Refining Mask Review

Neogence N3 Mandelic Acid Refining Mask Review:

I’ve been intrigued by Neogence as a brand for awhile now, but as they’re not the most affordable skincare range, I became pretty good at ignoring them whenever I chanced upon them in local stores, haha. However, when I saw their masks on sale, I really couldn’t resist getting my hands on at least a few variants to satisfy the nagging curiosity. So, did the results measure up to my expectations?

[REVIEW] New 2018 Aritaum Seaweed Dust Cut Moisturizing Mask

Aritaum Seaweed Dust Cut Moisturizing Mask Review

Aritaum Seaweed Dust Cut Moisturizing Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

The pollution in Korea is crazy. To the point I got asthma and skin allergies because of it! If you check the news, the pollution level here is God-knows-how-many-times worse than European levels. With such conditions it’s not unusual that lots of Korean brands have whole lines dedicated to fixing the problems pollution gives to our skins.

This line consists of 4 masks, and I chose my first one to be the Moisturizing one (in Korean they call it hydrating, not moisturizing, which is why I chose it). Because my skin needs hydration and moisture (which this blue mask promises), elasticity (which the whole line promises) and anti-pollution care (literally the whole point of this line). I have high expectations for this baby.

[REVIEW] New 2018 Mamonde Camellia Antiaging Flower Lab Essence Mask

Mamonde Camellia Antiaging Flower Lab Essence Mask Review

Mamonde Camellia Antiaging Flower Lab Essence Mask Review:

Mamonde (which I love) released a bunch of new mask sheets (which we all love) and they are based on flowers (love) and their essences (aaaah) to make it even stronger and more effective. The design is also pretty enough, and I’m very excited! The first one I decided to try was the Camellia one – but not because of the flower, because of the characteristics and claims instead.

[REVIEW] Missha Homemade Modeling Mask Nourishing Oatmeal

Missha Homemade Modeling Mask Nourishing Oatmeal Review

Missha Homemade Modeling Mask Nourishing Oatmeal Review:

After completely falling in love with the Mungbean Powder (Moisturizing) mask of this same collection, eventually I had to try the other masks. The first one became a favorite of mine right away, so, wouldn’t you try it in this situation?

This mask is Oatmeal. I love morning oatmeal porridge, sweet, cereal-y… And thanks to the Mungbean mask, my expectations for this mask couldn’t be higher. Will it live up to expectation?

[REVIEW] Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask Madecassoside

Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask Madecassoside Review

Innisfree Skin Clinic Mask Madecassoside Review:

The first time I laid eyes on this mask was when I first got into the madecassoside/centella asiatica hype and one of my friends included it in my gift exchange parcel back in April last year.

Safe to say, I liked it enough to order a few more when the official Innisfree website was having a sale, so it’s about time I wrote a proper review on it here to share my views as someone with reactive skin.

[REVIEW] Leaders Clinic Insolution Vaseline Moisturizing Mask

Leaders Clinic Insolution Vaseline Moisturizing Mask Review

Leaders Clinic Insolution Vaseline Moisturizing Mask Review:

This is the second of the new Vaseline masks from Leaders. I enjoyed the red (nourishing) version enough and gladly when I bought it I also bought this one. This one is moisturizing, and it’s blue (which is less pretty but more accurately similar to Vaseline itself). I use Vaseline literally every day for its repairing abilities. I can tell you right away this mask feels more like Vaseline because of the moisture and skin-repairing part (you’ll see my pores later), and there is not much difference between the two masks. But they are different!

[REVIEW] Skinfood Beauty in a Food Mask Sheet Centella Asiatica

Skinfood Beauty in a Food Mask Sheet Centella Asiatica Review

Skinfood Beauty in a Food Mask Sheet Centella Asiatica Review:

This sheet mask came as a beauty sample with my order when I restocked on some K-Beauty favorites. Previously I had tried Skinfood’s Wash Off Rice Mask and was neutral about it – while it was easy to use, it was hard to tell if it made a difference in my skin or not. My previous experience aside, I was curious about what this sheet mask had to offer.

For those new to the brand, Skinfood is known for its skincare and beauty products that boast creating healthy-looking skin using natural ingredients. Centella Asiatica is an ingredient found in Asia that is used to treat and help troubled skin with soothing properties. Apparently the ingredient is attributed to clearing acne-prone skin, which is appealing for someone like me who experiences the occasional breakout.

LEADERS Clinic Step Solution Shining Effect Brightening Ex Black Pearl Mask Review

LEADERS Clinic Step Solution Shining Effect Brightening Ex Black Pearl Mask Review:

Leaders is one of the first brands I discovered when I got into Asian beauty. Everyone seems to looove the brand. This is the first mask I’ve tried from them so I’m pretty excited hehe. Of course, I’ve got my hopes very high because of that and fingers crossed, it’ll be great.. I specifically chose this one because it looks fun, not because of the ingredients.
