[REVIEW] New 2018 Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner

New 2018 Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner Review

Klairs Supple Preparation Unscented Toner was purchased by Cosmeperks.

The new version of the famous Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Toner is finally here! And I am so excited to try it since I do know the popularity of the original version of this toner is no joking. Actually, I had a plan to try the original version few months ago but two friends said that the original version caused breakouts on their sensitive skin, and that’s because of the essential oils content in the ingredients list. Well, I guess some of us have a same unpleasant experience with the original version, and many people out there do.

Seemed like Dear, Klairs heard their fans shouted out about that issue and, finally, they recreated their famous toner to Supple Preparation Unscented Toner. Basically, this toner is same and as great as the original version, but it’s fragrance-free. It’s made without essential oils thus all of us with all skin types (even the sensitive one) can enjoy it without worry. It is Dear, Klairs Supple Preparation Toner version 2, The Unscented!

[REVIEW] Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion

Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion Review

Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion Review:

I’ve been flirting with this essence since January 2014 when it was first released, however for this product to reach the shelves of EU it took a while, as essences are usually promoted and developed mostly for the Asian markets. I finally managed to get a bottle on March 2018 from Notino for 60.90 euro and I’ve been using it twice a day since.

[REVIEW] New 2018 Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum | Essence in Lotion | Skin | Cream | Cleanser | Sleeping Mask

New 2018 Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum + Essence in Lotion + Skin + Cream + Cleanser + Sleeping Mask Review

New 2018 Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Special Set was purchased by Cosmeperks.

I met this amazing serum for the first time in 2013. I really LOVE how it worked on my skin since the first time I tried it. I think I already spent 1, 2, 3… ah, I lost my count how many bottles I’ve bought. Right, it’s Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum (the first Korean green tea skincare I’ve tried)!

This green tea serum is the world’s best seller product from Innisfree, even it’s awarded globally as best moist serum for 19 times! (well, I do know why it is). The good news, Innisfree just upgraded the formula of this lovely serum! As far as I know, they already upgraded it 3 times. In 2014, 2016 and now, the newest upgraded version in 2018!

Actually, Innisfree not only upgraded their Green Tea Seed line but also added a new product, Innisfree Green Tea Seed Essence-in-Lotion. And I extremely wanted to try everything in this line. Thankfully, they had a special set to introduce their newest formula for us. Here is New Green Tea Seed Serum Special Set which comes in a thick green box, consists of 6 products (the full size of Green Tea Seed Serum and the minis of Green Tea Seed Skin, Essence-in-Lotion, Cream, Morning Cleanser, and Sleeping Mask). Okay, get your coffee or snacks and please sit tight, it’s gonna be a long post, but I guess you are as excited as I am to try this NEW Green Tea Seed line, aren’t you?

[REVIEW] Isntree Clear Skin BHA Toner

Isntree Clear Skin Bha Toner Review

Isntree Clear Skin BHA Toner was purchased by Cosmeperks.

As soon as I read the name of this product… I wanted to buy it. I love bha and more specifically… I love salicylic acid, guess what this toner contains… nope, sadly it’s not salcylic acid however, it’s something very similar! It contains betaine Salicylate which is used as an alternative to salicylic acid!

Almost everything I’ve bought so far with salicylic acid was amazing so the chances I like this product are high. In case you’re not familiar with it, it is a gentle exfoliant that works well against certain types of acne (not mine but it seems to work nicely on my skin so I don’t really know what to believe).

Kose Sekkisei Medicated Lotion Review

Kose Sekkisei Medicated Lotion Review:

The first time I discovered the Kose Sekkisei Medicated Lotion was around 2011, when I saw Taiwanese actress Ariel Lin endorsing the products in her drama “In Time With You”.

I was still a teenager back then and I remember being intrigued by that product in a beautiful sapphire blue jar. After looking at the price tag online I gave up, but I swore one day I would get to try this luxury beauty product by myself.

Well, fast forward a few years, I finally tried it, and here’s my review on it.

[REVIEW] By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water

By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water Review

By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water Review:

When talking about exfoliating toners, Pixi Glow Tonic would first come to mind, as it is one of the earlier ones to emerge and quickly became a cult favourite. Then came The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution, at a fraction of Pixi Glow Tonic price and with a bigger volume. What these two have in common is that both contain glycolic acid, which has the smallest acid molecule and can be irritating to sensitive skin folks.

By Wishtrend then has came up their own gentle exfoliating toner targeted for sensitive skin, which is the By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water. Mandelic acid has the largest molecule structure therefore it is the least to cause irritation because it penetrates the skin more slowly than glycolic acid. It also has anti-bacterial properties, which can help with inflammatory acnes.

I have tried both Pixi Glow Tonic and The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. I really enjoy the one from The Ordinary, but not so much with Pixi Glow Tonic. I like having an exfoliating toner in my routine, so when I saw By Wishtrend launched this product I thought of trying it to see how it compares to the previous two that I have used.

[REVIEW] belif Bergamot Herbal Extract Toner

belif Bergamot Herbal Extract Toner Review

belif Bergamot Herbal Extract Toner Review:

My experience with the belif The True Crème Aqua Bomb moisturizer was pleasant and I was interested in learning more about belif’s other products. I saw a major beauty store was offering a reward that featured travel and tester sizes of belif products that could be used to do a full K-beauty skincare routine, which I bought. The toner was included as the second step in the process. Prior to trying the set, I never used toner, thinking it was an extraneous product that skincare companies used to get people to buy and use more products in their routines. Out of all the other items, I really liked the scent of this product and did notice a difference after using many times. When I ran out of the tester size, I purchased the full sized product.

For those who are new to the brand, belif is a mid-price skincare brand from Korea, best known for their face moisturizers. Belif products are described as being inspired by 19th Century apothecary processes, using the purest ingredients, combined with modern skin science.

[REVIEW] Huxley Secret of Sahara Toner; Extract It

Huxley Secret of Sahara Toner; Extract It Review

Huxley Secret of Sahara Toner; Extract It Review:

I have to admit this… I am all about aesthetics. If there is a product with excellent reviews but comes in an unattractive packaging, I would give it an immediate pass. I need my skincare family to work for my skin as well as look pretty on my skincare shelf.

So having said this, I got myself sucked into the Huxley hype because lets face it, their packaging is everything. The design is minimal yet luxe, so I convinced myself that I needed another hydrating toner (I didn’t need another toner obviously, but that is besides the point). I was actually pretty wary about the strong Huxley signature scent that everyone kept talking about; it is either they love it or they feel it is overpowering. Now, I would normally avoid strong scented products, but I succumbed to the beautiful packaging and just went for it!
