Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint | Rose Coral(CR01) | Review

Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Rose Coral(CR01) Review:

I have been interested in lip tints lately. On my search of a good lip tint, I came across the brand Labiotte. I actually purchased a full sized wine lip tint just because of the cute packaging and it turned out to be a great product! Being a person who pegs the no make-up look, I bought this wine lip tint again without hesitation, but this time, in what I think would be my MLBB shade –Rose Coral.

Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint is a long lasting tint. It dyes the lips with a bold yet delicate color that resembles quality wine while moisturizing the lips.

With my previous purchase, these claims were proven to be true. Since this is in different shade and components may have varied, I won’t assume that it will give me the exact same feels to as before. Now let’s see if these tints are consistent when it comes to quality, shall we?

Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol,  Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Wine Extract, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Dipropylene glycol, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Dimethicone, Dextrin, Stevioside, Lecithin, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Aluminum hydroxide, Ammonium polyacrylate, Silica, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Fragrance, Acid Red 18, Red 33, Orange 4, Acid Blue 9

Volume: 3g

How to use:

  1. Apply the tint in a clean dry lips.
  2. Use lip balm underneath if your lips need more moisture.
  3. Apply more coating for a solid color –it is quite buildable.

Chateau Labiotte Wine Lip Tint Rose Coral(CR01) Review:

Let me tell you something nice. Do you know that Labiotte Wine Lip Tint comes in two sizes? There’s a full size bottle that is 7g and the mini version that is 3g. I think having a mini version of products is a brilliant idea. With this, you won’t feel so sorry if you end up buying something that doesn’t work for you.

While mini versions or deluxe sample are pretty much of a thing when it comes to skincare products, I haven’t seen much of mini lipstick or stains so I think it is very considerate of Labiotte to release minis of their tints.

It was easier for me to justify that I have to get this product. I got this for only $5, that’s practically half of the price of the regular size! Okay, enough with the blabbering.

The packaging is still cute. The only difference from full-sized is that it doesn’t have the decorative label anymore, just directly printed on the bottle instead. The mini version is just about my pinky’s size; but don’t get fooled by its being tiny because you can actually use the product for long although of course, YMMV.

This product has the same wine scent (and taste). Rose coral is a very beautiful shade. It appears more pinkish than coral and somewhat milky but beautiful just the same. With this particular shade, however, you would need more coating if you want a solid color.

It is a pretty shade and I find it even more moisturizing than RD01. It doesn’t dry out my lips even after hours of wearing. It has decent staying power considering that it is a light shade.

It is buildable and I honestly feel that it is impossible to over-apply this one because even if I do a lot of coatings, I still get this beautiful finish; no clumping whatsoever.

I really like this particular shade and would definitely get the full size once I finish this mini! I highly recommend it for those people who are likes an everyday lip wear!
