CLIO Kill Cover Conceal Cushion SPF45 PA++ | 04 Ginger Review:

I knew this product right after I watched my favorite beauty vlogger named Molita Lin (Indonesian) said that this cushion is one of the most worth it cushion despite its price that’s a little bit pricey in Korea. She also said that this cushion like the name itself, KILL COVER, has a high coverage, and since my skin has so many acne scars that a little difficult to cover, I hoped by using this product it could cover my imperfections.

CLIO Kill Cover Conceal Cushion SPF45 PA++ | 04 Ginger Review:

To tell you the truth I really like this cushion, even though this is the first cushion I’ve bought in my life. As you can see from the packaging, it has a luxury side that you won’t ever be ashamed to bring it anywhere. The cover has a doff material so it’s not like a plastic cheap thing. With the black color dominating the cushion, it makes the cushion feel classy, even without any colorful sides. The expired is 12 months after opening the product.

I pick the shade 4 GINGER, and it fits me perfectly. The cushion has a lightweight feel, so I don’t feel like using any thing on my face, and I only use one layer though, and it already covers much of my flaws. It really has medium to full coverage, but if I want to build it up to full coverage by adding more layer, it feels a little bit heavy on my skin.

The maximum layer that I have used was only one. It also feels a little bit tacky after I apply it, since it says that the result is velvet, not fully matte, but it doesn’t feel much annoying, and you can use powder to less the tackiness and also set your cushion.

The cushion also blends very well, and I feel like every make up that I put above it, look very flawless and very beautiful on my face. When I use blush on, it blends very good and the color feels like more alive. It also doesn’t oxidize on my skin, and it doesn’t have any strong smell or fragrance which makes me like it more.

I usually use this cushion when I go to college, since it claims that it is long lasting. I usually do my make up on 6 am and go back home around 5 pm. After 3 hours of applying, I think that my T area start to feel oily, but it’s very natural since my T area is the very source of my oiliness. And then after 5-6 hours my U area also seem to feel oily, but not that much, usually it takes only 3-4 hours for my U area to become oily, so I think the cushion does a good job.

Surprisingly, after I arrive at home around 6 pm, my skin still looks very flawless even I have it on my face for around 12 hours. And to tell you the truth, I’m not the one who likes to touch up since I feel like a little bit lazy to bring powder to my campus. I just use a blotting paper once in a while when I just can’t stand the oiliness on my face.

So, when I found that this cushion really lasted for around 12 hours I was a little bit surprised and very well amazed. I also don’t feel any itch and fortunately it doesn’t make my skin break out.

I also have used this cushion from April to November, and currently I’m using the refilled one. The first one I used for around 3-4 months and starting around July or August I started using the refill. The minus is, as you can see that my previous puff has broken so just be careful when you use it.

You also have to be careful since it has SPF45, it will make a white cast / flashback when you take a picture. This is the one of the big minus from the cushion, since every time I take a picture, my face looks like a ghost because it looks too white.

I think this cushion does a very good job and it fits with the claims. Repurchase? No, because for my combination to oily skin, I have found my holy grail and it’s the L’oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation. I think this cushion can be used on dry, normal and combination skin. But if you have a very oily skin, I think you will not like this cushion because it has a velvety finish so it doesn’t very matte.
