CNP Laboratory Daily Peeling Foam Review:
After falling in love with the CNP Laboratory Tone-up Protection Sun, I started to pay more interest to products by this brand. The background of starting as a dermatology clinic and its philosophy of producing high quality skincare products lend me confidence that CNP products should hit the right note with my skin. What next caught my eye is the CNP Laboratory Daily Peeling Foam.
The sebum buildup for people with oily skin like me means we are more prone to clogged pores. Thus exfoliation is an important part of the skincare routine, to have the impurities and dead skin cells removed, so that the pores do not clog up and lead to more skin woes.
Unfortunately, I also have sensitive skin. I have to be mindful when choosing an exfoliating product so that it does not disagree with my skin, causing it to feel stung or be irritated. And the CNP Laboratory Daily Peeling Foam seem to fit the bill.

CNP Laboratory Daily Peeling Foam Review:
The product comes in a pump dispenser. It is completely sealed, so I cannot open to see if it reaches all the way to the bottom, thus ensuring consumers get every last bit of it out towards the end.
It is a mildly viscous transparent gel, which spreads easily. I use about 3 – 4 pumps for the entire face. On applying to the face and gently rubbing in, the gel oxygenates and forms bubbles. First-time users may be fascinated by the slight tickling feel when this happens.
After a few times of usage, I learnt that the cleanser works best when skin is dry. The cleanser does not foam if applied onto wet skin, so it is likely to leave you wondering if the cleansing has worked. I used it once a day in the morning, so I am unsure if this works on top of make-up.
But reviews from some other blogs indicated that it does not perform as a make-up cleanser. Note that similarly, if it is to be used after make-up remover, do have the skin dried before applying. Otherwise you will not get the foam.
The skin does not feel tight nor dry after cleansing. Neither do I feel wow-ed. Although this is to be a peeling cleanser which means it should exfoliate, I somehow do not get the squeaky clean feeling that I have from other exfoliators I have used.
On the other hand, my sensitive skin does not get flushed as with other exfoliators. Perhaps this what CNP meant by the gentleness of the cleanser. As you would know, it is never encouraged to exfoliate your skin on a daily basis as it could be too harsh. However for this peeling foam, it does feel assuring enough to use this every day.
This bottle is big, and likely going to last a long time. But I so hope to finish up quickly so that I can move on to something else.
Don’t get me wrong. I do not think it is a lousy product. This Daily Peeling Foam is an all-rounder in that it will be good for all skin types. It should especially be a delight to those of you with sensitive skin who may have been afraid to try exfoliation for fear of the harsh effects.
Perhaps I am more hardcore when it comes to exfoliation. I would prefer a cleaner feel so I will probably go back to the more conventional peeling gel/pad.
