[REVIEW] Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream

Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Review:

I needed a new product as a moisturizer, since the one I was using was too heavy and made my skin very oily towards the end of the day. Coincidentally, I came across Morgan Stewart’s video where she talked about this product. Since I always trust her recommendations, I decided to place this item into the cart (with bunch of other items).

Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Review:

During the summer, I usually use Belif’s Aqua Bomb but I wanted to find a cheaper alternative. I was using Benton’s Snail Bee Steam Cream which was working great until the days got hotter. That’s when Cosrx Balancium came in handy.

It is very lightweight, which is perfect for the summer. When I saw the ingredient list, I was a bit sad that the Niacinamide was not at the top (since it’s one of my favorite ingredients). However, that didn’t really stop me from trying this item.

Cosrx Balancium Comfort Ceramide Cream Review

The product looks like a cream moisturizer but feels like a gel moisturizer. The texture is very smooth and definitely light. It was really easy to spread and pat into the skin. After leaving this on my skin throughout the day, it didn’t make my skin oily.

Seriously, the last thing I need during the summer is looking like shiny, oily, mess. It dries down pretty quickly, which took me by surprise. It does leave with a slight tackiness, but it doesn’t stay for a long time.

The packaging is a tube type which makes it easy to squeeze out the product. The packaging also feels very sturdy, expected of Cosrx. I also like how the design is very simple; simplicity is best.

There is a slight scent that is similar to lavender and citrus. The smell is actually very pleasant for me, so I don’t mind the smell. The smell also does not last a long time, so it shouldn’t be a problem.

My skin calmed down a lot due to Centella Asiatica in the cream. I usually just used it during the night since I still had to finish my other moisturizer. When I woke up in the morning, my skin is still very moisturized, calm, and not oily.

It was difficult to find a cream that does all three at once. It’s a great day and night cream, does not irritate or make my skin overly oily, and keeps my skin nice and moisturized.

So, the main question is, am I going to repurchase this cream? Yes, why? It’s the perfect cream to use during the summer. I’m not sure if it will have the same during the winter, but if it is then it has done everything! It applies well and dries down nicely. It doesn’t make your skin oily in any way.

The ceramides will help with strengthening the skin barrier, which is very important. I once applied this on an extremely dry spot on my leg and it healed it instantly. If that does not make this item the winner, I have no idea what will! This cream will be going to my holy grail list!

  1. Hi,

as someone who deals with redness, do you think it’s better to avoid ingredients like bergamot oil? Which other creams do you recommend for someone with dehydrated and sensitive skin?

    Thank you
