[REVIEW] Dewytree Aqua Deep Green Enzyme Mask

Dewytree Aqua Deep Green Enzyme Mask Review:

As a person who uses Dewytree products, I surprised myself for not trying their most famous product thus far: their Deep masks. I mean, I literally have them in every Olive Young store, I have personally ordered stuff from the brand’s website, and yet why didn’t I ever add a mask to my cart? So I thought it was about time to try it! Of course I would choose a mask focusing on hydration for my first mask from the brand, since my skin loses all its water in the blink of an eye if I’m not careful. Dewytree, save my pores!

For starters, it wasn’t the easiest pouch to open. You can see on the top photo that it took me two tries to open, and that was the time I was almost giving up on it and using the scissors.

But the pouch itself wasn’t troublesome to separate and remove the mask – we all hate a pouch on which both sides stick together, and you have to struggle to get your hand in!

As promised in the package, the mask sheet is green! And as soon as I tugged it out, it smelled strongly of lavender – a small detail that makes me happy each time I remember it. I love flowers, especially lavender, and this cosmeceutical mask having a flowery smell is a very nice change from all the “cosmetic” smells of other cosmeceutical masks.

The mask sheet is super soft, softer than velvet! I cannot stress just how soft it is. In fact it’s as soft as wet rice paper.

The fit is not perfect on the nose as it lifts a little (my nose is quite huge though), as you can see on the photo, but the mask has great adherence. I just pop my glasses on top and it helps fix the problem.

There is a lot of essence left in the pouch, in fact it’s so much I uncontrollably spilled it on the floor.
The essence here on the arm test takes forever to absorb and when it does absorb it feels a little sticky. We’ll see how it goes on the face, right?

The mask doesn’t dry at all even once the time is up, so I remove it after 30 minutes which is very unusual for me since I usually remove it once the time is up. But I got distracted this time!

This mask is amazing for hydration! But it also provides some moisture so overly oily skins probably wouldn’t like this. Everyone else should probably give this a try if an opportunity comes.

This mask is so hydrating that it also gives my skin a lifting effect. My pores look cute and tiny, and I didn’t need to apply mist during the whole day!

It has the added bonus it calmed my blemishes down, after reading the ingredient list it must be the centella asiatica or so.

It fits my facial skin like a glove, so for me it’s a top points winner.
