[REVIEW] Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum

Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum Review:

I won’t lie to you, the first thing that attracted me to this serum was the packaging. With all its gold and black, it drew my attention the second I stepped into the store. Did I mention the bottle looks like real 24k gold? Because it does!

Diego dalla Palma is a well-known Italian brand that focuses on “giving customers the best results without using harmful ingredients”. I won’t deny that I was afraid of buying a mix of facial oils because of my acne prone skin. But the saleswoman used my soft spot for eco-friendly products against me and I ended up buying it. In fact what made me buy this product was its (almost) completely chemical-free list of ingredients. And my occasional acne is not worse than usual, so yay!

+ Diego dalla Palma claims this is a real “youth potion”, a natural serum that promotes skin regeneration and gives it a more uniform-looking, fresh and radiant look.

+ Pure gold leaves will give you a gorgeous younger-looking complexion and a glowy finish, while restoring strength and vitality to the skin.

Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum Review:

The Gold Infusion Serum comes with the prettiest 30 ml bottle I’ve ever seen, that’s a plus for people like me who appreciate a good packaging concept.

As I said before, I was afraid of using facial oils because of my acne-prone skin, but luckily enough I had no breakouts because of this serum. No more than usual at least!

The instructions can be a little bit confusing… is it a serum? A facial oil? Or should I just use it as a highlighter for my special makeup night? I guess the answer is all of them, depending on how your skin (or you!) feels that day.

After a long, cold day, 2 or 3 drops of this oil make my skin feel really nourished and… satisfied! I just use it after my usual toner/essence step but before my moisturizer, just like a real serum. It won’t reduce my fine lines, but my skin actually looks less dull and grey.

Diego dalla Palma Gold Infusion Youth Potion Serum Review

If I’ve planned a special night out I actually add 1 or 2 golden drops to my foundation, to have a nice radiant, glowy finish. No powder highlighter needed and my skin stays hydrated through the night!

This serum is not too heavy and until now it hasn’t clogged my pores. Of course I double cleanse day and night, otherwise my skin wouldn’t be very happy with me!

You can actually see the golden particles in the texture, which is yellowish, like you would expect from a mix of oils and gold.

The Gold Infusion Serum is fragrance free, but because of the oils it has a nice sweet orange smell mixed with vanilla scent. Not bad right?

To be honest, I didn’t see many long-term results, my skin has the same issues as always, I’m still acne-prone, sensitive and the fine lines are still there (uuughh!). But it gives an extra boost when needed, which I really appreciate in my daily routine!

Do I recommend this serum? If you have dry skin then it’s a perfect choice. For combination or oily skin it’s not life-changing but it does wonders for dull or grey skin. The gold really makes the difference, and the oils are a good option if you value radiant, glowy skin.

Will I repurchase? Probably yes. Not totally sure because it’s a little bit pricey, but I think I’ll buy it again if I’ll get some extra money.
