ELIZAVECCA CF-Nest 97% B-Jo Serum Review:
Serum product from Elizavecca might be unfamiliar in most people’s ears, since their famous ones are Elizavecca Green Piggy Collagen Jella Pack or Elizavecca Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. I personally tried the collagen pack first, around a year ago, and I quite like the effect. So when I heard Elizavecca also has a serum product, which is Elizavecca CF-Nest 97% B-jo Serum, I’m keen to give this one a try.

ELIZAVECCA CF-Nest 97% B-Jo Serum Review:
Elizavecca CF-Nest 97% B-jo Serum has a tinge of gold in its packaging, both in bottle and box. The box is gold and white, illustrated with some cute pigs, also full product information in English and Korean (except for the hangeul-only product claim).
The bottle is quite minimalist with transparent color and plastic material. The product information in the bottle is white-inked (in contrast with the transparent packaging) and all Korean, so it’s rather useless to depend on. However, this see-through bottle eases me to know how much the serum left.
This product itself has a translucent color, quire runny texture, and very slightly scent. Well, the ingredients list clearly included the fragrance content, but due to the short list, maybe it’s just not necessary to put strong fragrance.
Speaking of the ingredients list, I LOVE HOW SHORT THEY ARE! Only one drawback about the packaging, it’s about the twist closure. The combination about the closure and the pipette somehow allows some product to be left on the bottle’s mouth, caused the product to clot into some dirt in the long run. Might seemed gross and not hygienic.
Once Elizavecca CF-Nest 97% B-jo Serum was applied to my skin, it absorbed really fast and left no heavy feeling on my skin. I could immediately continue my skincare steps afterwards. The after-usage feeling was nice too, I could feel it moisturized and smoothen my skin.
I’ve been using this product together with a moisturizing first essence, and somehow I felt this serum always locked the moisture perfectly.
Adopting the same routines without using this serum resulted in slightly greasier feeling in my face. And I realized my cheeks’ pores were less visible too, although it was just temporary effect. So, in order to observe the differences between before and after using this serum, I only applied the serum to my right-side of face and started to compare both sides for almost three weeks.
Fast-forward to the next three weeks of this treatment. I was downright disappointed to see no differences between both sides of my face. Well the left-side of my face (which didn’t use Elizavecca CF-Nest 97% B-jo Serum) had two pimples during the second weeks, but I didn’t think this was due to the treatment as this serum didn’t claim anything about skin barriers toward acnes and pimples.
But besides that, I must state that I didn’t see or feel any significant differences. This was quite a drawback since I felt a pleasant feeling after using this product. However, a positive viewpoint was maybe this Elizavecca serum took more than three weeks to show significant effect permanently, considering its economical price (approximately $10 – $15).
Regarding its claim to :
“enhance the moisture retention of the skin”, I could feel the slightly moisturizing effect although temporary. Looks like I need to use this serum longer to gain this claim.
“help the skin smooth and healthy”, yes I could feel it instantly after usage.
“help the skin whitening”, I didn’t see my skin get brighter so far. But considering the Niacinamide ingredient, I guess the brightening effect would occur in due course.
“help to relieve wrinkles”, I think it was quite difficult to prove this claim, as only time will be able to tell. However, swiftlet nest itself is made entirely of a bird’s saliva and plays a big role in improving the elasticity and complexion of the skin, boosting luminosity and youthful radiance, smoothening wrinkles and promotes skin hydration. Considering the high content of this component, I hope the wrinkles-relieving effect would takes place eventually.
According to CosDNA , there’s no harmful ingredient found in Elizavecca CF-Nest 97% B-jo Serum. Only two products show relatively higher safety index but they’re commonly found in skincare products, and just beware of the fragrance content for anyone who’s sensitive to any.
