[Review] Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask Pearl

Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask Pearl Review:

I love pearl earrings more than anything. It’s so simple yet so beautiful, not to mention classy. Now pearl in skincare may not be entirely new, however, I don’t think this ingredient has gained full limelight, or maybe I was too young when it shined? After all, pearl is one amongst ancient ingredients that are still being used today. Pearl extracts has long been used in cosmetics –known for its regeneration properties and rich amino acid components, this natural ingredient is mainly used for anti-aging and anti-acne purposes. Does it actually deliver? Let’s see if Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask Pearl was able to give my skin an instant, youthful glow.

Etude House 0.2mm Therapy Air Mask Pearl Review:

I was at home and got nothing pressing to do one day when I noticed that my face look a little dull so I decided to slap a brightening mask while watching The Blacklist. I have a lot of brightening mask but I picked up Etude House 0.2mm Mask –Pearl for I want to try something new.

The packaging is so chic, I could feel that there’s a lot of essence in this mask despite coming with 20ml of essence only. It may be due to the fact that the material used in this mask is air-light, they are incredibly thin!

I’m not entirely sure how pearls should smell like –I sniffed once, I couldn’t put my fingers on it, and then I sniff again, I still couldn’t tell but the scent is of familiar, fruity scent. It was only when I was placing the mask on my face that I realized it smells a lot like lychee!

The material of this mask, as I’ve said is really thin! The thinness is comparable with Holika Holika Pure Essence Mask Sheet material but I like this one better because it adheres a lot better than the other! The fit and adherence is pretty good on my face.

This pearl sheet mask is drenched in a runny essence –I get a lot of drippings when I put this on my face. I could detect a little slip but I’m fine with it for it doesn’t feel as tacky as the strawberry variant. I was able to wear it for 20 minutes and my skin was left even-toned and well hydrated. I also noticed a little brightening but I’m not entirely impressed.

What I like about this mask, however, is the fact that the essence used is fast-absorbed by my skin which makes it a good choice for day time masking.

Overall, Etude House 0.2mm Mask –Pearl is just an okay product. It does what it claims but on exemplary level. While I am not particularly blown by this product, I still see myself getting mask for it relatively good mask for its price point. I also love the fact that it didn’t cause me any breakout. I would recommend this mask to any skin type, including ones that are sensitive.
