[REVIEW] 2018 NEW Etude House 3 Minutes Care Mask Turmeric

Etude House 3 Minutes Care Mask Turmeric Review:

I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am for this collection! It copies the Ottogi (famous food brand) design. It includes “copies” of their mayo (in shower pack), curry (this mask) and jajjang (brown mask), with also some Ottogi inspired morning mask sheets. I chose curry for my first one because it’s the best food in the world!

Claims:

+ When you don’t want to put too much thought into anything because it’s bothersome, but the skin still needs care – 3 minute care.

+ 3-minutes simple skin-caring for who hate hassles by uncomplicated steps.

+ Lots of people love curry and with the turmeric from curry we made this mask that hydrates the skin while brightening and clearing it up.

The design details are awesome! I love how similar it is to the food products, as long as you see the food once you don’t even need to look much to see the similarities.

Whereas the Soft Drink Tint is similar to a product purely by coincidence, this one is on purpose and it’s very well achieved. The ingredient list is also relatively simple for a mask sheet, which makes me very excited.

Well, it opens easier than the curry pack, that’s for sure. The mask is adorable! Looks exactly like the color of curry.

As soon as I touch it I feel the mask is relatively soft but not as soft as their Air Therapy collection, and it is soaked in essence but not dripping.

The mask smells like a root, I’m guessing that’s the turmeric scent they chose to add, but not too strong or overwhelming.

The fit is okay in everything (I curled it on my hair line because I just washed my hair and don’t want to get mask essence on it) except on my nose! It lifts and the only way to put it down is the classic “glasses over mask”.

Which is fine because I wear glasses, but if I didn’t I would probably cut the connection from the nose to the eyes to fix this problem.

The mask feels fresh on the skin and burned just a little on the corner of my nose where it is sensitive, but not on my pimples or red spots.

The essence is really liquid, as it should be for a 3 to 10 minutes mask! Absorbs fast and leaves no trace on the skin. And to give hydration (as they aim) if the essence is good then 3 to 10 minutes is enough.

When it comes to the results, I love it! My skin is completely hydrated, and the pimples are fresh and soothed. For a short mask it’s really good. The stinging on the corner of my nose also disappeared a few minutes after I first applied the mask.

Now, because the essence is s watery I needed to lock the hydration in with the rest of my skin care (so I used a hydrating essence and a soothing gel, and only then a moisturizer), otherwise the hydration wouldn’t be very long lasting.

By adapting my skin care to the purpose I used this mask for the mask’s effect lasted as long as a normal (long) mask would last.

The white heads dried out almost completely while my skin kept being hydrated, and the red pimples (with the help of a red spot serum) by the end of the day were just pink. I have been using a lot of hydrating masks this summer, but this was the lightest essence so far and I think the pimples got better because the essence is so light.

It’s still a road shop mask, so it isn’t the “bestest fanciest most awesomest” mask, but it’s good for the short time of application, stays humid until the end, and is affordable (which is the main road shop mask characteristic).

I had fun with this mask and if you want a fast mask at any time of the day I recommend it. It’s about as good as an Aritaum or Skinfood lower range mask, but it is fun and saves a lot of time.
