[REVIEW] Etude House Big Cover Skin Fit Concealer Pro P03 Light Vanilla

Etude House Big Cover Skin Fit Concealer Pro P03 Light Vanilla Review:

This year Etude House finally came out with a brand new concealer called Big Cover Skin Fit Concealer Pro. This concealer is actually an extended line from Etude earlier collection, the Big Cover line. To be honest the concealers on the Big Cover line aren’t impressive for me because the shade selections are so poor so I was excited to see Etude finally make this new concealer in 9 shades!

In those 9 shades, there are 2 corrector shades (Peach for dark circles and Mint for redness) and 7 skin shades range from fair to tan. There’s no dark shade deep enough for people with deep skin tone but I think it’s a good progress that they start making deeper shades. I’m hoping for the next release, Etude will come out with more shades for everyone.

I think this concealer is hyped in Korea because I saw so many Korean beauty Youtubers were reviewing it and most of them said they had a good experience with this concealer. It makes me really want to try it and finally after waiting for almost a month to get the concealer arrive on my place, finally it’s here and I can’t wait to try it!

Etude House Big Cover Skin Fit Concealer Pro P03 Light Vanilla Review:

It comes in a beige paper box, nothing special about the packaging. I think I’ve seen the packaging before somewhere but I’m not quite sure. Maybe because Etude House has several products with packaging similar as this concealer. It also has 7.5gr worth of product which is a lot for a concealer with that price.

The concealer feels a bit heavy but I guess it’s because the bottle feels very sturdy. It’s made from plastic but if compared to other Korean concealers, I can say it feels more expensive even though in fact the price is very affordable. It is safe for travelling as well since it’s slim and doesn’t need too much space on the purse.

Among those 9 shades, I purchased the lightest skin shade, P03 Light Vanilla. I always use concealer to conceal and highlight my dark circles so I choose that shade.

Etude advertises the shade Neutral Peach as under eyes corrector but for some reasons under eyes corrector never works on me. It just darken those areas and won’t conceal anything at all so I opted to get the lightest shade possible from the collection.

Most of the times it’s hard for me to find a concealer light enough for my skin tone but I’m happy to say that this shade is perfect! It works really well in covering my dark circles and highlighting my under eyes and T-zone area. This shade is perfect if you have fair to light skin tone and it has a hint of pinkish tone in it so it will help reducing the appearance of dark circles.

The applicator is a doe-foot with a triangle shape. Unfortunately, it doesn’t pick enough product for me. I still have to dip the wand several times into the bottle to get the amount of product I need but if you use concealer for spot concealing only, then just one dip is enough.

The concealer spread and blend so easily! It has quite creamy texture so I’m surprised it blends like a dream. I just need a few taps with my dampened beauty sponge and the concealer will blend in no time. I also like how it doesn’t set immediately on the face so I have time to blend it properly. To set it, I usually use my holy grail powder from Clio, the Moist Fit Powder Pact and they work perfectly together.

It has a matte finish but it doesn’t feel heavy at all on the skin. Sometimes concealer with creamy texture like this tends to feel heavy and cakey but not with this one. Before I set it with powder, it’ll feel a bit sticky but after I set it, it feel so smooth and doesn’t emphasis any of textures under my eyes.

This concealer doesn’t have a very good coverage but it helps toning down the redness on my skin. If you want to conceal acne scars, zits, or pimples, it won’t cover up those problems really well. I’d suggest you to try other concealers with fuller coverage but if you only want to cover some redness, it works amazing.

After about 4 hours, I can see it starts to crease. I have tons of fine lines and usually concealer sink into those lines just after about 2 hours so I’m impressed to see how long it last before it sink into my fine lines.

The creases aren’t too obvious too so I’m okay with that (it’s almost impossible to find a concealer that doesn’t crease on me anyway). But even with the creasing, it still looks good and not cakey so I really like it!

So far this is my favorite Korean concealer! With the price, I’m so amazed how well it works on my skin. It doesn’t emphasis my skin textures and it brightens my under eyes so well. Because it feels lightweight on the skin, this concealer is perfect for daily uses. I really love it and I will 100% recommend it for everyone!
