[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Coffee To Go BE119 Dry Orange Bianco

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk Coffee To Go BE119 Dry Orange Bianco Review:

Dear My Blooming Lips Talk is a really famous lipstick from Etude House thanks to their promotion and partnership with a well-known beauty influencer Lily Maymac who had worked together with 3 Concept Eyes in the past as well. Her ‘chosen’ shade, BE109 was really popular at that time and I remember how hard it was in getting that shade. It took me more than a month to wait for the shade to be restocked.

And this year, finally Etude made new shades for the Dear My Blooming Lips Talk and the best part is the shades for fall, that consist of browns and oranges tone which are my most favorite color for lip product! They launched 4 new shades and all of them has orange tone so if you’re not a fan of orange-ish lip color, these won’t be the best lipstick for you.

Usually I’d prefer a liquid lip to a traditional tube lipstick but the shades range are too beautiful to pass. I’m a huge fan of fall/autumn shades so I had a hard time in choosing only one shade. At the end I chose the best-selling shade which is BE119 Dry Orange Bianco.

This time, Etude made the packaging look more sleek thanks to its matte material and brown color even though the design is exactly the same with the older Dear My Blooming Lips Talk.

I love this more than the old one to be honest because it’s more chic and you won’t realize that it’s something from Etude House since they always make a feminine/cute packaging. It such an improvement for Etude.

The new version has a distinct flower scent, unlike the older version. If I remember correctly, the older one doesn’t have a scent but don’t worry, the scent isn’t too obvious unless you sniff it directly from the tube.

I’m not a huge fan of floral scent (I prefer sweet scent) but I almost smell no scent at all when I was applying the lipstick so if you hate scented product, you still can enjoy this one.

As I said before, the 4 new shades have orange tone in them. From those shades I got the best selling one which is BE119 Dry Orange Bianco. On my skin tone (fair with neutral – yellow undertone) the orange tone is really vivid and the shade looks really warm.

If I can compare it, the shade looks similar to their infamous BE109 but much warmer. This type of shade is really perfect for fall and since most of Koreans have warm undertone (most Asian to be exact), no wonder if this shade becomes the best selling one.

If you have pink undertone, I don’t think the shade will suit you the best but you can try a darker shade with more orange-red undertone. I think every skin tone can wear this shade but if you have deep skin tone, it will look like a light terracotta instead of a warm orange shade.

It has a semi-matte finish, not matte and with a little bit of sheen. I love this type of finish because it won’t be too dry for my lips yet not too glossy either. I have dry areas on my lips and fortunately it doesn’t emphasis those dryness!

I had a positive experience with the older version so it’s not a surprise that I enjoy this new release as well. It glides smoothly and the pigmentation is really great, I don’t have to swipe it over and over again to achieve a full pigmentation on my lips.

It’s really easy to make gradient lip too, the texture is really forgiving so it’s fairly easy to blend even without using my finger or a lip brush. Just with a simple smack between upper and lower lips you can get a nice gradient lips. But in my opinion, this shade is not the best for gradient look because it’s too light and will make your lips look small instead of plump.

For its lasting power, I have to say it is pretty average. It doesn’t last as long as I want it to be but it doesn’t fade too easy either. If I ate oily foods or drink with a straw, it will fade but not fully.

It fades on the inner part of the lips and if you have no problem with that, then there’s no need to re-apply. But if you want to re-apply, you don’t have to wipe it off first because even if I layer it, my lips still look fine and not dry at all.

The new Dear My Blooming Lips Talk is a good lipstick but is not the best I’ve ever found from a road shop brand. It performs exactly like the older release so if you’re curious if the new one will be different from the original one, the answer is no.

Only the shades selection and additional scent is new and the other aspects like the lasting power, the packaging, and the finish is just as same as the original Dear My Blooming Lips Talk.

I won’t get another shade just because I can pick other lipstick with better performance but if you want to try an affordable lipstick with a decent quality, then this product is perfect for you.
