Etude House Double Lasting Foundation #Beige Review:
Etude house has been upgrading and releasing many new products recently, from upgrading their makeup products like any cushion, gel lip tint and their skincare products like their air therapy mask. Not only upgrading they are also releasing new make up and skincare products. From skincare to make-up products they have been adding a few new lines, like for the skincare they added the Pink Vital line, Soon-Jung line, Toning White C line and new products that are for aging is the Red Energy Tension Up Power line and for the make-up they added color in liquid lips mousse, glow on oil volume base, shining powder cheek duo, double lasting foundation and many more!
They have been transforming their products from being boring and not playful as their concept to more playful and have various product now. So I decided to try their Double Lasting Foundation that has been hype up among k-beauty bloggers. At first they sold it exclusively only at their website, but because of high demand they decided to sell it at their physical store too. I bought it at online shop because in my country this foundation isn’t available yet. So I began to try this foundation since last month using it together with my mom.
The product’s name says ‘lasting’ so I thought that it will be long lasting?
On it’s official website they say “Long-lasting foundation provides perfect cover and thin, fitting feel.”

Etude House Double Lasting Foundation #Beige Review:
This foundation comes in a wide range of shades from fair pink undertone to yellowish darker tone, [pure, vanilla, petal, beige, sand, tan, and the darkest shade that they have amber] and recently they renewed their color range to pink base, neutral base, and yellow base.
From pink base they have rosy pure, light vanilla, and petal. From neutral base they have pure, neutral vanilla, neutral beige, sand, tan, and amber and last from yellow base they have ivory, beige, and honey sand in total they have 12 shades from the white to darkest shade.
Before purchasing the actual product, I have tried the samples from the fairest shade to the darkest shade and I have mine in shade beige since I have yellow undertone, and because I used it with my mom which she has brighter skin than mine so I thought beige will be perfect for her to use too.
The packaging comes with a box and the bottle is made of glass, quite fancy for a ± $15 worth of foundation. Many people said that this is a dupe for the high end foundation from Estée Lauder – Double Wear Foundation. As I don’t have it cause it is too expensive for me, so I can’t compare each of the product.
Personally I like amber more than beige cause it match my skin so perfectly (dark skin tone problem for kbeauty foundation) but beige isn’t bad too cause it can be used to slightly brighten my skin tone. I didn’t buy the sand and tan shade cause they tend to have greyish tone to it and I didn’t like it.
I used it several times, and I like it! This foundation is very lightweight, the coverage is medium to high it can cover most of my acne scars, the longetivity is quite long lasting for me as it is a matte foundation, perfect for my oily skin.
The minus side is the lightweight texture is depending on your application, whether you use it with a foundation brush or beautyblender or your fingers. The most natural finish can be achieved is to use this with a foundation brush and finger rather than using a sponge, because using sponge makes it cakey or too thick.
My mom also liked this foundation, she said that when she use this it feels like she doesn’t wear anything on her skin! Very lightweight and also economic because you only need 1 pump for full face coverage! My mom and I use this frequently for 3 months and it still have half of the product.
If you have very oily skin this maybe will be a good product since I have seen this foundation on my oiliest part of my face that is my T-zone and chin area, the oil control is good. It gives the natural glow with the oil from my face, and for drier area my skin looks fine for total 7-8 hours usage.
I don’t recommend this for dry skin types because this foundation is so dry! I tested it after using a cleansing water to feel the foundation on dry skin and it tends to cling on my dead skin cells around my cheek bones and makes skin look flaky and felt so tight after the application. If you still want to use this, make sure to hydrate and exfoliate your skin first or combine it with your favorite face oil.
Repurchase? Maybe not cause I still want to try other foundations. Thank you for reading! See you.
