Etude House Happy with Piglet Color in Liquid Lips Air Mousse #RD301 A sound sleep with Pooh & #PK002 Bounce! Pounce! Tiger was purchased by Cosmperks.
This product was just released here on January first and of course it started selling out right away. I ordered online and was lucky enough to get a 1+1 coupon so it eased my color decision – I basically wanted all of them, right? I ended up choosing exactly the two colors that are not Piglet! But regardless, they are all from the same collection so I believe Piglet still feels my love.
This is the year of the pig, which is why they chose Piglet and not (the more popular) Pooh as the star of this collection.

Etude House Happy with Piglet Color in Liquid Lips Air Mousse #RD301 A sound sleep with Pooh & #PK002 Bounce! Pounce! Tiger Review:
The colors on the official website are pretty accurate so I didn’t bother going to the store and swatch it for you (hey, the closest store is 2km away from where I live), but as I said: the official swatches are accurate, so no worries there!
I chose bright red because it’s a classic color, and for my other color I wanted a neutral one. There are two neutral (n*de-ish) colors, one is this one (pink shade) and one is a Piglet one (orange shade).
The design is adorable! It’s pretty minimalistic for Etude, and in its simplicity it shows exactly who the characters are! Love it. All lippies come with cute ears on top, and when I first tried to open the product it was closed TIGHT. I mean, really tight! I had to put some strength to it and thought “This is it, I’ll break the ears on my first day!” – except in the end the ears are soft rubber! That was a relief. So they will definitely not break!
Another design characteristic is the slightly transparent bottom of the lipstick recipient, classic Etude. My guess is that it’ll be able to show, even if just slightly, when you’re closing the end of the product.
The applicators are simple, also classic Etude for this type of products (color in liquid lips mousse). This collection is much like their other lip collections in product recipient shape. The bottle hole is tight so it pretty much cleans the applicator by itself, and it keeps itself relatively clean (unless you’re like me and miss it when you want to close it, as you see in the photos).
Generally clean and easy to use.
Now, as I said, for the colors you should really refer to the website, they are super accurate!
One layer is slightly transparent. A one layer application looks more like a matte product after drying (refer to middle photo).
A two-layer application gives a rich and non transparent color, and does indeed look completely like a silky, velvety mousse product.
This makes the product PERFECT for semi-gradation where you give a gentle color to the whole lip, blurring the edges, and give a strong color in the center of the lips.
After cleansing there was some tinting, after using the tint the whole day I noticed that even with the weaker Tiger color it also leaves a tint up until the next morning.
The Tiger color is pretty natural so if you have darker lips like mine it will look like “an ideal lip color”, and if you have lighter lips it will look probably like the color as it was on my arm.
On my top lip on the first two photos you can see my allergy, it’s basically red and dry skin, and it always shows through any lipstick. I applied that day with a cotton tip and it applies just as well!
There is a very tiny amount of gathering on my wrinkles, but I count only 4 gathering lines and that is virtually nothing! Smack my lips two times and they’re gone for the length of the application.
The Tiger shade has no transfer.
The Pooh shade is tricky! It’s a neutral red that looks… warm on my lips (cool tone) and cool on my boyfriend’s arm (warm tone). It still matches well with whatever color, it’s just something to consider when you do your eye and cheek makeup.
I did a semi-gradation and it looked perfect the whole day. It is PER-FECT for semi-gradation.
It has also a very tiny gathering, if it appears smack your lips two times and it’s gone.
But the Pooh shade has a very slight transfer.
Both neither transferred onto my teeth, and they didn’t blot out of my lips, so for all purposes they are no transfer.
They aren’t very long lasting, they last until when you eat a meal, but the colors are so stable you can also reapply only in the center once you’re done and clean.
They both have some scent, but weaker than Peri Pera inks.
On and on they are not only adorable but great and affordable lip products and if you fell for any of the available colors I recommend you giving it a shot.
I love them!
