Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream Review:
The cream is the last step in Etude House’s Moistfull Collagen skincare series which claims to aid in firmness, elasticity and hydration. As I am approaching my late twenties, anti-ageing has become an important part of my skincare regimen. Since when I stumbled across this product at Etude House sales, I decided to give it a try.
This collagen cream contains 63% of super collagen water, making skin hydrated for a long time. The skin moisture level will last for at least 12 hours.

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream Review:
The key ingredients in this product are hydrolyzed collagen, baobab fruit extract and hydrogenated lecithin. Hydrolyzed collagen plumps up the layers of the skin and keeps its moisturized for a radiant glow. Baobab fruit extract contains vitamin C and antioxidants to boost the skin’s elasticity while hydrogenated lecithin reduces skin flaking and restores suppleness to the skin.
The Moistfull Collagen Cream came in an orange sturdy plastic tub. I liked the fact that it came in a plastic tub as I have a tendency to drop things easily. Just like its packaging, the cream is slightly orange in color and has a very unique gel-like consistency.
Due to its thick consistency, it may cause a break out for those with really sensitive skin. The cream also has a pleasant floral scent to it. The scent is not overpowering and in fact disappears very quickly after massaging.
Since Moistfull Collagen is a skincare range, it is recommended that users apply the cream right after the Moistfull Collagen Lotion for optimal effects.
Despite applying a small amount, the cream does not absorb quickly into the skin and in fact leaves a sticky feeling. Therefore it is not advisable to apply too much of the cream or use it during the day.
Nevertheless, it did leave up to its claim of delivering and retaining moisture in your skin. My skin felt smooth and soft and it also gave me the dewy look which explains why some might want to apply this as a base before their makeup.
It was not my preferred base before my makeup as I did not want my face to turn into an oil slick at the end of the day.
After consistent usage for approximately 3 to 4 weeks, my skin felt plump and hydrated. It did not cause any irritation to my skin as well.
Overall, it did make my skin look healthy and supple but the effects are not that prominent. There was no visible reduction in fine lines or wrinkles but I felt that my complexion became slightly more firm.
This product is probably more of a preventive solution. I will not be repurchasing this as I do not like the feeling of the greasy residue after application and I believe there are other products that do a better job at moisturizing.
Nevertheless, if you are looking for an affordable anti-aging product, you might want to try this. One tub can lasts for approximately 3 to 4 months even with daily usage and I personally think that this product is a good first step to an anti-ageing skincare routine.
It will be most suitable for normal to combination skin while those with sensitive skin might want to avoid this product due to its thick consistency. I personally love Etude House’s skincare range, but it was just unfortunate that this product did not work wonders for me.
