Femmue Repairing Creamy Foam Cleanser Review:
I bought this on my visit to their store a million years ago, and oddly enough I used it fast once I actually started using it. This whole tube lasted me… around two months? Which is quite fast for a foam cleanser. The design is beautiful, the promises are nice, and the brand is a favorite of mine so, of course, after using it I had to write about it.

Femmue Repairing Creamy Foam Cleanser Review:
The squeeze out “port” is the simplest there is. But it is also very clean right until the end, even if the lid isn’t a flip type. I actually prefer unscrewing the lid every time if, like this, it prevents the product from getting water inside!
Simple, yet effective? Approved.
As I said, the package is beautiful. White, and gold, makes it quite elegant. The creamy foam itself is beautiful too, it’s white with gold glitter and gold balls that pop and probably give you something to your skin. Like those shower gels that have small balls with essence inside.
Regardless, beautiful inside and out.
This photo was so difficult to take.
I had to spread the foam so much, enough to show you the glitter!!! Pointless but beautiful.
Anyway, texture-wise, as you saw before the foam was so dense it retained the ice-cream shape when I squeezed it out. After massaging it onto the skin it melts into a sticky cream.
To be honest, it doesn’t bubble much, but I found that the foams that match my skin generally don’t bubble much.
As they mention makeup cleansing (not removing) abilities, I wanted to test it. It really removed most makeup by washing it twice! And yes, I am aware lots of foams will remove the makeup, but hardly this well. This helps me rest assured when it comes to my makeup.
Whereas I started cleansing in the morning with only cleansing water, or if necessary a gel cleanser, at night I always do double cleansing.
After removing my makeup with an oil type cleanser, I need to remove the residue with a foam cleanser. Sometimes I would still “touch up” leftover makeup with cleansing water afterwards, call it a concern of having makeup on while I sleep. Anyway, after seeing this on my arm, I have no more concerns with residual makeup.
The cleanser smells very sweet, not flowery at all as is usual with Femmue. It’s like it’s not even from a flower related brand! And it’s definitely a smell that feels artificial.
It is soft while using, and it does leave the skin a little squeakier than the Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser, but that one is perfect on that note.
It doesn’t leave my skin dry after using though, so I forgive. And it never made my skin more sensitive, nor did it attack any sensitiveness that I had! Score!
I do like this cleanser, if you worry about makeup residue then of course I recommend it. It’s also quite elegant to gift to someone.
But if you have other concerns that are not makeup, then probably you should just buy something else, since it is on the pricey side.
I don’t regret purchasing it at all, though!
