[REVIEW] Forencos 7 Days Gold Regenerating Silk Mask

Forencos 7 Days Gold Regenerating Silk Mask Review:

This is the part where you expect me to write that only bought this because Song Joong Ki’s face is on the cover but NO! This is not the case. I actually bought this whole series because the ingredients seem fancy and promising. As the title states, this mask contains gold. Yes, gold! It has .025mgs of 24K gold and peptides.

That’s obviously a tiiiiiny amount that I believe is on the cover just to get the consumer excited but hey, that’s still fancy and you never know! I have to admit that I didn’t have a single idea what gold is supposed to do for the skin but after seeing it in many other products, I decided to give it a try. Even if the gold actually does nothing, this mask contains niancinamide, which works great on my hyperpigmentation.

+ Thanks to its content of 24k gold and peptides, this mask can help with boosting blood circulation while plumping and lifting tired and saggy skin. It claims to be able to help renew skin and keep it looking youthful by boosting elasticity and minimizing wrinkles.

+ Forencos 7 Days Gold Regenerating Silk mask is made from 100% pure cotton celluloid fabric which tightly adheres to skin while also containing a rich amount of ampoule to keep the skin hydrated and healthy.

Forencos 7 Days Gold Regenerating Silk Mask Review:

When I opened this mask, I was actually clueless, I had no idea what to expect. Now that I’m looking at the claims after using the mask, I’m amazed by how accurately the claims of the mask showed on my face.

♥Fit and packaging:

This mask doesn’t sit on too well; It makes a lot of air bubbles on the chin and near nose so I have to keep pressing it which can cause it to dry up faster. Maybe my nose is too big; I’m not sure but it was really annoying near it. It has small holes for the eyes so it can work for the under-eye area too- even though I didn’t see any difference, furthermore,

I’d say my dark circles deepened. Since it is soaked in ampoule, it keeps sliding off so had to lie down while wearing it. The sheet material is very thin and see through. I really appreciate that it has a protective layer to not stick to itself but that layer is a bit hard to take off; furthermore, it takes a lot of the essence away so I really recommend rubbing the protective layer on your body while using the mask. A random thing that I really loved on this mask is the material of the case. It feels like paper and has a minimal vibe.

♥Smell/ Texture:

This mask comes with a lot of essence that smells a lot like a man’s perfume. I understand that this is about Song Joong Ki but I don’t want to feel like he’s ACTUALLY on my face. Oh, when I say it contains a lot of essence, I really mean it. There’s so much, that my face looks wet after I take it off.

Thanks to that, I went a bit overboard with it and I left it on for almost an hour. It didn’t dry even a little bit which can be a good thing if you like leaving your masks for long but a bad thing too since it’s not hygienic to leave sheet masks on for too long hehe. The liquid’s texture is very thin and very runny. After using the mask, I noticed it has a matte finish and it’s not sticky.

♥ Results/ Performance:

As this mask is for wrinkle/ saggy skin improvement and I don’t have any wrinkles nor saggy skin, there’s obviously not much to expect. Or so I thought. This mask somehow is great for everyone! After I used it, my face was smooth and I felt like the skin’s elasticity had improved. To top that, my complexion also looked brighter while my skin felt veery plump and moisturized.

I believe it felt so plump because it had a great cooling effect; I’m not sure if this goes for everyone but when masks have a cooling effect my skin becomes very plump and dewy. Another plus is that it also gives a relaxing vibe (maybe because I had to lie down?). I really liked how clean my face felt after this mask. Before used it, I felt like there was dirt or something on my skin but after the mask it disappeared.

I genuinely love this mask. Even though it wasn’t designed for my type of skin or to cure my troubles, it still gave me a pleasurable result. Also, it stopped being on the more expensive end of the spectrum since nowadays you can get this mask for a very reasonable price. I totally recommend this to people that just need a simple, working mask. No drastic results but definitely, not bad at all.
