[REVIEW] Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum

Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum Review:

I needed a good Vitamin C serum that would help me with my hyperpigmentation. I usually use Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop, but it seemed like it wasn’t doing much for me. I wanted to make sure that it was a serum type that was easy to use.

I didn’t want the hassle of worrying about the discoloration and having to put it into the refrigerator. When I saw this product online, I was aware of the hype. Many people talked endlessly about how great and effective this product was. Which brought me to the question, is it worth the hype?

An innovative vitamin serum that lightens blemishes, freckles, and dark spots after 2 weeks of use.

Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Serum Review:

The packaging is surprisingly nice. I thought the whole bottle would be made of plastic, but the bottle is made of sturdy glass while the top is plastic. It’s an easy-to-use pump bottle.

I’m also glad that this product was produced using green tangerines. I found it easier to store and use compared to other Vitamin C serums. I don’t have to worry about the discoloration that could happen. I also don’t have to walk back and forth from the refrigerator to use the product.

The texture is a gel consistency and it’s very easy to spread. I was afraid that the consistency would make it difficult to spread, but I was very wrong. The formulation itself feels really thin once you apply it. It gets absorbed quickly, and it doesn’t leave any sticky feeling. It does leave a slight shine to the skin.

The smell of the product is just citrus-like. It doesn’t smell like lemons or tangerines, but there is a slight sour citrus-like smell. However, once you spread it out and apply it to the skin it smells a bit similar to glue. I know, you’re probably thinking “what?” I didn’t recognize this when I was applying it to my face, so it was a shock for me too. However, since I never caught this when I was applying it to the skin, I’m not going to see it as a negative point.

The main question was whether this item was worth the hype. My answer is that I am still on the fence about this product. I applied one pump of this serum during my nighttime skin care routine for roughly two weeks. Maybe my skin and I are still trying to figure it out, but I didn’t see any improvements happening.

However, new ones also didn’t form. I know it does take some time for hyperpigmentation to go away, but they did say it would go away after 2 weeks of use. I’m not discouraging anyone not to buy it since every skin is different. I’m just thinking that this product is needing a bit more time to do its magic onto my skin (I do hope it’s some time soon).

Other than the hyperpigmentation, this product did keep my skin well moisturized. It didn’t irritate my skin, which I am thankful for.

In conclusion, will I repurchase this item? I am not sure. I want to see if my answer changes after I finish using the whole bottle. I don’t mind using the product, but it hasn’t given me any drastic changes to make me buy another bottle. So, I guess the question still stands. How about for you? Was it worth the hype?
