Hada Labo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Foaming Wash Review:

We all know that we need a low pH cleanser to maintain a healthy skin, and this cleanser is said to have a pH of 5.5.

This foam cleanser comes in a very clinical-like white coloured pump. It also has a pump-lock, which can be useful to bring along for travelling (unfortunately I am silly and have misplaced the pump-lock, therefore it is not shown in the photos).

Its texture is foamy and very light. It feels like you are pumping out cute fluffy clouds from the bottle! I find that one pump is sufficient to cleanse my whole face. And since I only need one pump, this bottle seems to last forever!

The scent is a bit chemically, which I think could be an issue for some people especially for those who love nice smelling products. But as for me, I am not too bothered by it.

I normally use this as my second cleanser in the evening (I have other cleansers that I rotate with this one). It feels very gentle and non-irritating. I have normal/dry skin and I have had my share of encountering stripping cleansers, but this did not make my skin feels dry and stripped at all.

After rinsing, I can feel there is a very thin film-like layer left on my skin, which makes it feel soft and moisturized.

This is a very basic and straightforward (some even say bland and boring) foaming cleanser. Even though it does what it claims, somehow I always find myself reaching for my other cleansers instead of this one.

And since one bottle can last a long time, I would probably not repurchase. Not because it does not work, but mostly because I want to try other cleansers out there.

I feel that every skin type would benefit from this cleanser, as it is gentle, non-irritating and non-stripping. Give it a shot if you are in the lookout for a new cleanser!
