Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet Review:
Doesn’t this product name make you curious? As a matter of fact, it does to me. Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet emphasizes to have pH level of 5.5 (±0.5) that even the cover is full of number 5 and 5 linked, not the brand or product name like other sheet masks.
Moreover, I had no experience with Heimish products before. So I got attracted to (1) Heimish brand, and (2) how it claims to make skin healthy by giving the dream skin which pH level is 5 – 6.
+ A subacid soothing mask sheet that not only seals moisture into your skin but also helps you restore your skin’s health.
+ The average pH level of healthy skin is 5.5 with low acidity. You must maintain a pH level of 5 – 6 to prevent skin damage. Use this subacid mask sheet to keep your skin healthy.

Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet Review:
Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet has a unique packaging material; soft cardboard with a plastic side on the inner side. Dominated with soft grey color, and as I said before, had its cover printed with two big ‘5’ numbers to make sure that people will get the meaning of pH level 5.5 (look at the picture). As for the product information, everything is written in both Korean and English. Very helpful.
The most attention-worthy I realized about Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet was its sheet material. Well, it’s just a right thing to put ‘Microfiber super-fit mask sheet’ claim on the product information, as it has soft, smooth, thin material just like ‘microfiber’ thing.
The sheet adhered perfectly to my face that it was difficult to re-adjust the holes, and unfolding the sheet mask would be troublesome had it no additional layer. Thankfully the Heimish manufacturer provides a layer to help unfold the sheet.
About the scent, I personally thought that it has a scent like a car freshener; like the scent of mint combined with pine tree, a forest-y scent. This scent was quite strong when I opened the packaging, but it receded as I started using the mask.
Since the mask itself adhered perfectly, its essence was quick to absorb too. It left my face smooth, moisturized, and healthy in the next morning. I often felt my face a little bit sticky in the morning after using sheet masks, but there was no sticky feeling with Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet at all.
I guessed that was because the essence had absorbed wholly over the night. For this mask sheet’s claim of ‘seals moisture into your skin’ and ‘helps restore your skin’s health’, I willingly stated my approval.
Sadly I had no pH testers, so I couldn’t prove that Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet really has the pH level of 5.5. Let’s just consider it’s true as Heimish has stated it on the product claim. A brief decipherment, the acid mantle (a.k.a the skin barrier) should be slightly acidic , at a 5.5 pH balance. When it’s too alkaline, skin becomes dry, sensitive, and also there’s a possibility of inflammation, wrinkles, and sagging. Oops, really a big no, isn’t it?
According to cosdna, Heimish Low pH Hydrating Mask Sheet contains no harmful ingredients at all. Every ingredient has the safety index ‘1’, so I suppose this product is suitable for anyone.
An oily-skin bearer wouldn’t find this product too heavy, just like myself. And a dry-skin bearer would find this product quite moisturizing too. Do give this sheet mask a try, it’s really good!
