HELLOSKIN JUMISO Water Splash Mask Review:
HELLOSKIN Jumiso itself has proclaimed quite a nice meaning toward the brand. In Korean, ‘ju’ (주다) means to give while ‘miso’ means smile, so literally ‘jumiso’ means to give smile. Or to make us smile, maybe? On the official website, HELLOSKIN Jumiso advertisement is like this : “Change your daily mask pack to our HELLOSKIN and put a big smile on your face. HELLOSKIN concentrates on the small things to create a big effect.”
Let’s be honest since the beginning. I’ve been eyeing the Jumiso sheet masks from quite a long time ago, but I had to restrain the desire to buy one. This brand has relatively higher price compared to we-all-know brands like Etude House, Nature Republic, The Face Shop, and so on. While I’m pretty satisfied with Etude House Air Therapy mask sheet, why should I buy other (more expensive) brands?
However, people say that “never let go of the things you can’t stop thinking about”. So I finally decided to buy two variants of Jumiso sheet masks; Jumiso Water-splash Sheet Mask and Jumiso First Skin-Lightening Sheet Mask. Besides these two, there are also Jumiso Rich Nourishment Sheet Mask, Jumiso Whoa Whoa Soothing Mask, and Jumiso Chewy Elasticity Sheet Mask that were launched together.
+ This revitalizing sheet mask contains natural ingredients, which help balance your skin’s moisture level in dry environments.
+ Its gentle 100% cotton fabric is one of the finest quality for the perfect adherence while still allowing your skin to breathe.

HELLOSKIN JUMISO Water Splash Mask Review:
Jumiso Water splash Sheet Mask comes in a regular-sized sheet mask packaging, dominated with dark grey color and ‘that’ Jumiso girl illustration on the cover. In the back side, all information about this product is fully written so that the customers wouldn’t find any difficulties matching their preferences.
Once I tore the packaging and took the mask out, I smelt nice scent of flowers but also sensed the rich amount of essence it made the sheet mask itself kinda drenched and was ‘heavy’.
While I was trying to unfold it, the essence was dripping all around – it was never happened to me with another mask sheets before, no matter how rich the essence amount. Albeit felt grateful with the richness, I must say that I don’t see this as a plus point.
As for the features, the essence was cloudy, hazy-white with slightly thick texture.
Just like any other nowadays’ sheet masks, Jumiso Water-splash Sheet Mask also has a layer that must originally designed to help unfolding the mask. However, as you can see in the photo, the layer has different material and features compared to other brands’.
The holes have wider diameters and was made from a plastic-like material. I strongly assume that this layer has so much to do with the dripping essence, which is also a drawback to me.
Once being worn, strangely I smelt disturbing stink scent which must be from the sheet mask’s material. Its, or the layer’s. This was quite disappointing since the essence itself has a pleasant aroma. Well, the stink scent did recede after some time of using although not completely disappeared.
As for the size, I had no complaints since it wasn’t too wide nor too small. JUMISO proclaims its sheet to be ‘gentle 100% cotton fabric’, but sadly I didn’t see any special result compared to any other sheet masks.
How about ‘help to balance my skin moisture level in dry environments?’. Sadly, no. My skin was in its rough status due to the full-air conditioner environment, and I was urgently hoped for a good moisturizing effect from this mask. But I found my face was just like so-so afterwards.
I did feel some pleasant feeling right after the mask being removed from my face, but it was only that. No special result or nice moisturized feeling lingered in my skin.
However, the result might be different for you, so I still assure you to try this Jumiso Water-splash Sheet Mask considering its popularity and the claim itself.
According to cosDNA, Jumiso Water-splash Sheet Mask only contains some relatively moderate safety-risk : Tocopheryl Acetate, PEG-32, and PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil.
To be honest, I don’t want to recommend this product to anyone looks for any moisturizing effect, but as I said before, the result might be different for you. As for any skin types, I think this product contains no particular hazard.
