Holika Holika Water Drop Tint Bomb 03 Fig Water (Sweet Peko Edition) Review:

After some long thinking, I finally purchased the shade 03 Fig Water. It seemed like the nice brick red that I’m always interested in. When I got it, I was intrigued with the product shaped in a tear drop. That’s when it hit me. The name probably came from the shape;

Water drop (the product looks like a water drop. WOW.) The water drop shape is great for getting into the corners and the top of the lips. But when I saw the color, I thought I made the wrong decision. The color seemed too dark for my liking, like ..a brick color.

It had a sweet smell that wasn’t bad, but I cannot seem to pinpoint. But my mind changed as SOON as I swatched it. When I swatched this on my hand, it felt like water glided onto my skin. It also had a very cooling sensation. My lips felt instantly cool and refreshed!

The color was thankfully, exactly how I thought it was going to be. It’s has a good balance between pink and red, with a hint of orange. And the tint power is WOW. I left it on for a few seconds, while I was getting a cotton pad to wipe it off. It visibly left a tint within a short amount of time. It’s also not drying, which is great!

The transfer is also not that bad. There are little specks that transfer, but other than that it didn’t transfer all over the place! This instantly became my go-to lip tint balm.

The only complaint I have about this product is their tube. It feels sturdy, but not sturdy enough. The twist up part feels weak and wobbles a lot. But with all the pros that it has, I wouldn’t mind the little setback.

Overall, did I like it? YEAH. Will I keep it? Uh. YEAH. Will I repurchase? YES. Whether it’s the original packaging or limited-edition packaging, I will buy it. I WILL! The tint is long-lasting, moisturizing, and soothing! It really feels like water droplets going on my lips.

I’m sad I didn’t buy this product any sooner. This product also got me very curious about Holika Holika. I might look and get some other products from them! So, with that said, what about you? Have you tried it or want to try it? If so, which shade do you want to try?
