[REVIEW] New 2017 Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Sleeping Pack

Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Sleeping Mask was purchased by Cosmeperks.

At the exact time when the weather started becoming colder and drier, and my skin started aging, I got lucky enough that Skinfood released this new product for their honey propolis collection! My skin particularly likes honey based products, and winter in Korea is terribly dry. It was just a bunch of happy coincidences when it came to the release of this product. So whereas Skinfood products are usually a hit or miss with my skin, I have now been using it for 1 month without rest and hope my review answers any question you might have!

On the journey to better skin I noticed my skin likes honey a lot, and consequently propolis should be one of the best things to happen to my skin. [REVIEW] The Face Shop The Solution Moisturizing Face Mask

The Face Shop The Solution Moisturizing Face Mask Review:

The myriad of sheet masks available makes me see stars each time. Even within the same brand, there are many different types to choose from. I got The Solution Moisturising Face Mask at the same shopping trip where I purchased the Yehwadam Revitalizing Moisturising Cream because it was having a one plus one promotion as well.

So I bought 10 pieces of the masks at the price for 5, thinking I can gift this to someone else should it not suit me and feel lesser of a pinch. Another reason I bought the masks was also because I was into trying out skincare with ceramide which claims to repair skin barrier. Besides the Moisturising Mask, there are another 9 different formulation in this series to cater to various needs.

Etude House Therapy Air Manuka Honey Mask Review:

I first got this mask because I really wanted to try the sample that came with it (of a product that hadn’t been released yet) and so I had to make a minimum purchase… and walked out with two different honey masks.

This one was of course the first one I tried, because it’s from the representative collection of the Etude House masks. You should know my skin loves loves honey, and if you read this review you will know how good honey can be to aging skin.

[REVIEW] Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb

[REVIEW] Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb

Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb Review:

This was a cream I have been wanting to try for ages as I have read a lot of flattering reviews of Belif and my friend has been swearing up and down that Belif is the reason for her blemish-free complexion. This cream is more of a lightweight gel moisturiser and great for those with oily / combination skin.

Belif claims to have re-created a formula whereby this cream acts like an explosion of a water bomb to relieve the skin from modern age daily pollutants. As it is of a gel consistency, it dries relatively quickly on the skin – good for those mornings when you are in a rush to get out of the house and need to apply your makeup at breakneck speed.

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Yehwadam Revitalizing Moisturizing Cream

[REVIEW] The Face Shop Yehwadam Revitalizing Moisturizing Cream

The Face Shop Yehwadam Revitalizing Moisturizing Cream Review:

I like buying products from Korean brands because they are generous with samples. It is a smart marketing strategy, because this helps to introduce the products to potential customers and increases the chances of customers buying full-size products later on.

I was browsing the shelves at The Face Shop one day, contemplating whether to get a full-size moisturizer after having tried out some sample sachets some time back. As usual, the ever-friendly sales staff came over and asked if I needed help. Noting my skin concern, she sailed me to another line – Yehwadam instead of the original one I was looking at. There are two types under the Yehwadam line – Revitalizing Moisturising (blue in colour) and Revitalizing (pink in colour). She recommended the former to me, which is more suited for oily skin while still addressing anti-aging needs. The highlight of course is the one plus one promotion that was going on. It is hard to resist a one plus one offer, isn’t it? And so I succumbed to her sales pitch. But I have no regrets for this.

Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream Review:

Yes, this was a purchase made in hype. Every single AB message board or social network was buzzing about this cream. So many raving reviews, so many times mentioned as holy grail cream. It was even claimed to be discontinued (in panic) just to reappear like a Fenix. Who could possibly resist that? Not even a normal person, let alone me, skin care junkie. Every possible description of this cream had been written in kudos and I simply wanted to test it. Seems legit. Right? No? Ok then, it’s me.

So, let’s see how did this little hanbang wonder cream do on my needy, hard to please skin.

Aritaum Baby Face Ampoule Collagen Review:

The best thing about promotions is when you buy something not really knowing what to expect and it turns out to be a surprise. I think most people who do this end up having bad surprises, but the good ones make it worth it. This one was definitely a good surprise!

Yes, sure it only lasts for 6 days but 1) that’s perfect for vacation 2) usually ampoules are meant to be used one (however much the amount of the package is) all at once as a one round of treatment and that’s how I used this one! One in the morning, one at night, without any mistake! I think that, for such a short treatment the results were quite good!
