[Review] Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Lime

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Lime Review:

I had Innisfree Its Real mask haul in the past and I am down to my last variant which is Lime. Most of the mask that I’ve tried had been so-so, if not bad to a point that it broke me out (yes, I’m talking to you Acai -_-) and I’ve actually tried quite a bunch: Kiwi, Pomegranate, Manuka Honey and Green Tea. Since I am a brightening/radiance mask freak, I have intentionally saved Lime. Hey, save the best for last, yes?

+ The star ingredient of this product is lime. Do not confuse it with lemon because they are different species, although, I believe that they come from the same family.

+ Lime, apparently, is potent in making your skin appear clearer and brighter.

  3. Remove the sheet 10-20 minutes and gently pat to allow the remaining formula to absorb into the skin

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Lime Review:

Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Masks has pretty much the same packaging and material; I believe they only varies with the type of essence used. Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask  Lime, just like any other has a sheet mask that is paper thin so be careful in working on it as it tears easily; I’ve teared mine in the nose bridge area as I was setting the mask on my face.

The lime variant has a clear and runny essence and you can detect slip on it. The scent of this variant is strong lemon scent –not the relaxing kind but dishwashing liquid kind! Frankly, I don’t like the smell but I can deal with it.

The mask is refreshing on its own even at room temperature. My face didn’t feel itchy or anything weird the whole time that I was wearing it so that was a good sign.

I took off the mask after a good 15 minutes –I have to say that this has got to be the best sheet mask finish that I got from using the Its Real series.

My skin didn’t look thirsty at all! I also like the fact that it doesn’t leave any sticking feeling and more importantly, I was able to detect a little brightening unlike the Acai Berry variant which shares claims with this variant.

I would have to say, however, that the brightening property of this mask is nothing out of the ordinary. If I am to rate it, I would give it 2/5 stars in terms of brightening which is not so bad because I have used masks in the past that claims the same but I didn’t happen to detect the slightest brightening at all!

Overall, I like Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Lime. I am just glad to have finally found something from this line that works for me. I guess it would work fine with any skin type but if you want serious hydration, you probably won’t get it from this mask.

Needless to say, this is my favorite out of the bunch and I might consider repurchasing it; probably not to soon though, for there’s amass of sheets yet to be conquered! ☺
