Innisfree My Body Vanilla Body Lotion Review:
VANILLA! My most favorite kind of scent. I love vanilla so much because the sweet scent really brings the warm sensation through your body, it also helps relaxing your mind, and most of all the sweet scent really makes you feel like want to be eaten, just like cookies! So, when I caught this product at the Innisfree counter, I really didn’t give second thought, I immediately bought it without hesitation since my previous body lotion also had already been empty.
A deep-hydrating body lotion with the scent of vanilla that feels sweet, creamy, and soft

Innisfree My Body Vanilla Body Lotion Review:
I opened this product right after I bought this since I just couldn’t wait anymore to use this body lotion. This body lotion has a hard plastic with bulky packaging, so actually this is too big to be brought for travelling, but because it is a hard plastic it also ensures the safety of the product when it accidentally falls to the hard ground.
All of the Innisfree body lotions have the flower signature signs attached at the front of the product, and because this is a vanilla scent you can see the vanilla flower sign. I love the cap of this body lotion because it has a solid packaging so it just doesn’t open easily just in case you want to bring it somewhere and put it on your bag.
You can also see the Innisfree brand engraved at the front of the cap. I bought this body lotion in 2017 and at the bottom of the product you can see the expired date which is on August 11, 2019 so approximately the life span of this body lotion is around 2 years.
The first time I poured the lotion on my hand. I remembered how intoxicating the smell was. It ran through my nose and out of sudden I felt so calm and relaxed. This lotion had a light and not runny texture which I like so much. It was easy to use, smelt really good, and I felt my skin really moisturized after using this lotion.
What I don’t like from using this product is it doesn’t absorb fast into your skin. You need to wait approximately 15-20 minutes, otherwise you will feel a sticky feeling, which I really dislike. The problem is when I was in a hurry and I used this body lotion to go out, I just couldn’t stand the tackiness around my arms, feet, and all around my body, unless I was in an air-conditioned room.
The air-conditioned room definitely will help to dry the lotion and after it dries and absorbs well, I don’t know whether this is just my suggestion or not, but I feel my skin healthier and very moisturized since I have a very dry skin (my body skin, not my face).
The smell lasted for about 5-6 hours if you’re in an air-conditioned room or if you didn’t break a sweat, but if you’re at the outdoors it lasted only for about 3-4 hours.
Repurchase? I don’t think so, because I think I can find many body lotions with cheaper price and better than this one. My friends also told me how they didn’t like the stickiness and in their opinion, this product is not really worth the money.
Well, for me, I don’t really mind the tackiness if I use this only at home, but unfortunately if I want to go out I think it just really waste of time to wait for around 15-20 minutes in order the lotion will absorb well into the skin.
Actually, before I started using this, I used the Bath & Body Works Body Butter and man, it smelt amazing and lasted a whole day, so probably I think I’m just going to repurchase the BBW one. Overall, I would give 3 out of 5 for this Innisfree Body Lotion.
