Innisfree No Sebum Toner Review:
Innisfree always come with products which contain natural ingredients and is famous with their green campaign. As we know, their No Sebum powder is widely known as one of the best among the competition of loose powder because of its natural ingredients. This time, Innisfree decided to extend their No Sebum line with a series of skincare. As a big fan of the powder, I was so eager when Innisfree announced the new products around May and CosmePerks made a post on Instagram about these new products for the No Sebum line!
As always, I got most of my products from Althea Box. This time, Althea came with their Matte Box with products for people with oily skin who wants to have a flawless matte finish for their make-up and skincare. One of the products inside the box is the newly released Innisfree No Sebum Toner. Without further ado, let us jump to the review now!

Innisfree No Sebum Toner Review:
The series of the No Sebum line consist of three steps; toner – lotion – cream. This comes in a plastic bottle packaging with a simple minimalistic design, also with its signature color for the No Sebum line (a mint green color). I personally like the color since it gives a perfect representative of the ingredients of the product!
The cap comes with a screw and there is a tiny cap that you need to pull (carefully) before pouring the product. Why I said carefully? Because I cracked the top lid a bit after two weeks of usage which probably will make the toner leaked if I accidentally put the toner upside down. I supposed it was because I did not pull the tiny cap carefully…
Also, it is written on the box that we need to recap this immediately after use. For hygiene sake, I actually prefer toner which comes in a pump version to dispense the product rather than a big hole just like what this toner has since we will not be conscious if micro dusts might contaminate the product.
So, to prevent myself for opening it for too long, I put this toner in a small spray container. I usually spray this toner 3 to 4 times to the cotton pad and it can be used for the whole of my face and neck. But if I want it to be even more refreshing, I usually spray the toner 5 to 6 times.
The consistency for the toner itself is very watery and it has no color. Also, it feels very light and refreshing whenever I apply it on my skin using a cotton pad, it somehow makes me feel like I just take a shower especially when I use it before sleep.
It also absorbs very fast due to its watery consistency. Trust me, it will be convenient to use this in the morning when you are in a hurry or in the evening when you are so sleepy and wish to go to bed as quickly as possible!
After several use, I can say that this toner does not give any burning sensation at all and it does not give me any breakouts after using the toner religiously for three weeks. When I applied this toner for the first time, there was a small red patch on my chin but it only lasted for a day. I suppose it was my skin trying to adapt with a new product.
Moreover, during the three weeks period, I have several hormonal acnes around my right cheek and forehead. I patted those acne with this toner but it does not show any difference and I suppose this toner will not do any job with acne despite having a natural Salicylic Acid on its ingredient list.
What the toner does as an immediate result is that it leaves my skin smooth and fresh, though it does not show a difference in skin texture. My skin usually produce lots of sebum but after three weeks usage of this toner, the production of sebum on my face has slightly reduced. Probably the production of sebum will reduce a whole lot more after I finish this one bottle.
One thing to note about Innisfree product is that their toners are heavily scented. The scent of this toner reminds me with the No Sebum powder, probably because of the mint extract.
But then, this toner has a whole lot stronger scent rather than the powder. The scent reminds me with a Vitamin C lozenges in my local store, I suppose it is because of the Citrus Unshiu (Satsuma) Peel Extract the product has in the ingredient list.
I myself prefer to have toner with no scent or just a light scent to it. Since my skin has already used to COSRX toner with no scent at all, this toner with citrus minty scent disturbed me a bit. Luckily, the scent disappear a few seconds after application on face.
After all, I enjoy using this product as a daily lightweight toner. The scent sure gives me a little problem but it is still bearable and does its job to eliminate most of the sebum on my face, leaving skin with awesome fresh and smooth feeling to my skin.
One thing I can say is that Innisfree need to get rid of their strong fragrance game for their toners, essence or serum. If only this toner were scentless, I would really put this toner on the top of my list along with COSRX’s.
Still, to people with oily skin who does not really mind about fragrance and has a great problem in controlling the amount of sebum on their face, this toner is a must try for you!
