Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil Review:
Facial oil is like a luxurious skincare for some people, including me. It is a highly concentrated product and in average, it comes in a little bit more expensive prices than usual moisturizer cream or serum. I guess that’s very reasonable because facial oils have higher benefits that you can’t get from your daily face cream. While a moisturizer cream is a mixture of water and oil, facial oils provide a higher concentrated oil to moisten our skin and repair skin’s barrier to keep it healthy. What’s more, you just need a very small amount of facial oil applied on your entire face, where you may need 3 or more times as much from your face cream.
For an oily-combi skin like mine, facial oil is not a must-have item in my skincare regime. My skin can produce more than enough oil by itself, so why do I have to buy a pricey facial oil? But, back to this early year, my skin became very very dehydrated and dry after suffered from awful break out (as an effect of trying western skincare from a certain brand). I was so desperate for a couple of months and finally decided to have one of facial oil to resolve my skin’s problem and bring my normal skin condition back. So yeah, this is my very first facial oil, The Green Tea Seed Oil from my favorite brand, Innisfree.
-Antioxidant-infused oil made with Jeju green tea seeds for deep hydration and nourishment.
-This is a moisturizing and nourishing face oil with eco-friendly Jeju fresh green tea and green tea seeds.
-More moisturizing and refreshing than ever before.

– Mix with your foundation or BB cream to make them easier to be blended and get satin to glowy finish
My Skin Type: Oily-Combination, dehydrated on cheeks area, acne prone and sensitive.
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil Review:
Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil comes housed in a Innisfree’s eco-friendly cardboard (unfortunatelly, I had thrown the box already, I’m sorry).
As far as I can remember, the box is made from recycled paper and printed with soy ink. It is typically like usual outer box from Innisfree.
The facial oil itself could be found in a green glass bottle with a dropper on the top. The material of the glass bottle is thick and designed into an elegant and classy shape.
I like it, it represents a thing which I called a luxurious skincare. But since it is a little bit heavy and made from glass, it is not travel friendly.
The dropper is made from a glass too and it is quite sturdy. Since it comes with a pipette, it helps me to control how much amount of the oil I want to take out. This is very useful and hygienic too.
If you have ever tried Innisfree The Green Tea Seed line, this facial oil has similar scents like the other products from this line.
The green tea scent is great, soft but very refreshing. On the other hand, it also contains a typical scent of oil. You may don’t like it if you have a sensitive nose, but for me it is still tolerable.
Considering that it is actually an oil, of course, the texture is like an oil too. It is thicker than water, transparent and runny. It absorbs pretty quick into my skin after I patted and giving a little massage on it.
It leaves a glowy effect on my skin once it get absorbed. It also gives an extra moist effect and hydrates so well. Surprisingly, it doesn’t leave greasy or sticky feeling. But make sure that you apply this facial oil in a proper amount.
If you use it too much amount, it will be too oily, dull and heavy on your skin! 1.5-2 drops is perfect for my skin. Sometimes, I apply it only on the dehydrated and dry area. It won’t make my skin being too oily.
While the moist and hydrating effect is instant, as quick as the product absorbed into the skin, the smooth effect needs more times to be achieved.
After using it about 2 weeks, I started to get a smoother skin texture. And this is not a temporary effect. I think this product worked from the deeper layer of my skin, not only on the surface.
My rough skin got repaired after using this facial oil regularly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t give an awesome result in healing my acne. Well, they didn’t claim it, though.
I’ve been using The Green Tea Seed Oil since March and now I only use this product in my night skincare routine (1-2 times in a week) to avoid too oily skin because the weather is being hotter in my country, thus my skin is already getting more oily. It works really nice and gives me a moist and soft skin the day after.
And since I love using cushion makeup, I made a DIY cushion by mixing my favorite foundation with this oil. You could do the same thing too if you feel that your foundie is too thick.
This oil will make foundation or BB cream into lighter texture, so they could be easier to be blended. Ah, I also use this oil to moisten my dry elbow and knee. So far, it works well.
Since this is my only one facial oil that I’ve ever tried, I couldn’t compare it with the other ones. But I get my conclusion that Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Oil is an amazing product.
I love the results and thankfully, it doesn’t cause any problems like dullness, too oily skin, blemishes or others (as far as I apply it in a proper amount onto my skin). This facial oil is very friendly even for my oily-combination skin.
And I’m glad for the fact that it has my most favorite ingredient, green tea. Well, skincare is the best investment, right? So, comparing the price with its wonderful results, this product is absolutely worth it.
