[REVIEW+SWATCHES] Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 04 Tangerine Slush

Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 04 Tangerine Slush Review:

Innisfree did a collaboration project with Snoopy months ago (or its it last year? I’m not quite sure) and when I saw it at my nearest Innisfree store, I fell in love with the Creamy Vivid Tint. It’s really good and worth the price but they only had 3 shades. That’s why I decided to get another shade but this time is from the regular edition. I saw some reviews saying that they have different performance so I’m a little bit curious about that.

In the regular line, they have 12 shades available, quite a lot for a lip tint but guess what, most of the shades are pretty similar. The shade range consist of pinks, reds, oranges, and berries. I swatched most of them on the store and I have to say the shades were very similar indeed. Even with the bright lighting on the store I had a hard time to differentiate each shades.

The one that caught my attention the most is the orange shade 04 Tangerine Slush. Not because I love orange lip color but that shade was so bright and eye-catching, it was the most different shade among the 12 shades so of course I purchased it right away.

Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 04 Tangerine Slush Review:

It comes in a recycled box, as usual from Innisfree. Their boxes have a same design for all their product so you need to check carefully or else you’ll get the wrong product.

The words are printed using eco-friendly ink as well so by purchasing from Innisfree, we (indirectly) contributes to the environment.

Turns out not only the paper box, but the bottle is similar to other Innisfree’s products as well. It’s a short, white bottle and you can see the shades inside by looking at the bottom part. It’s lightweight so it’s travel-friendly but this type of packaging can get dirty easily so you may want to keep it in the box.

It has a teardrop shape applicator and it’s a little bit flat. Even though the shape is a bigger than most of my lip tints, the applicator still works wonderful in applying tint on the lips.

One dip is enough to make a gradient lips but if you want to achieve the full lips look, you need to dip the applicator once more.

It has a nice scent, like a sweet orange scent. It’s not too obvious unless you sniff it directly from the wand or the bottle but it is has perfume in the ingredients so if you are allergic to perfume, you may want to avoid this product.

Innisfree Vivid Creamy Tint 04 Tangerine Slush Review

I have the shade 04 Tangerine Slush. It’s a true orange shade and it’s very similar to the Peripera Airy Ink Velvet 12 Bloomy Orange but this one has warmer undertone so it will suit warm undertone better than cool undertone.

I have neutral-yellow undertone and even though the swatch on my hand shows how orange the shade is, but on my lips it looks like a warm orange shade. I won’t complain though because it looks more wearable.

The texture is indeed creamy like they claim but it’s also sheer and thin, almost like a water tint. The pigmentation is okay and it’s fairly easy to blend the color but because its sheerness, I have to be careful in applying the tint or it will get blotchy.

The finish is creamy and it doesn’t emphasis my dry parts or fine lines on my lips. It doesn’t make my lips feel dry after hours of wearing too so it’s definitely a plus point for me especially since my lips have some dry parts here and there.

I really love the finish because it’s not too glossy and it makes my lips look plump and healthy. It doesn’t stay that long on the lips, maybe about 3 to 4 hours but it leaves a pretty stain that will last all day. The stain itself has the same color as the shade so it looks like I’m wearing a tint, not just a stain.

I really recommend this lip tint! Even if the shade range is a bit disappointing (at least for me), I’m sure you’ll find a shade that you’ll love and the quality is really worth the price (and it’s even affordable enough for students or teenagers!).

I would rate this lip tint 4.7 / 5 and if they plan to release a new shade for this Creamy Vivid Tint, I’m sure I’ll buy another one!
