Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum Review:

The Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum contains 82% tangerine peel essence made from Jeju and is known to have brightening effects on the skin. The serum contains six different citrus flavonoids that inhibit the development of melanin while promoting collagen growth for tightened pores.

Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum Review

The product comes in a white frosted glass bottle with a pump dispenser, which makes it hygienic and easy to use. It is also travel friendly as the bottle is very light and the glass is not fragile. I find that the frosted glass made the whole packaging look very classy. Since the glass is translucent, it was slightly difficult to measure the amount left inside the bottle but that was not really an issue for me.

The consistency of the serum is relatively thin and it was translucent when I first used the product. After a few uses, the product became white in color as the ampoule is being mixed with the serum with each pump. I like this design because it probably helped to keep the ampoules ‘fresher’ which enhances the efficacy of this product.

Innisfree Whitening Pore Synergy Serum Review

The serum is very lightweight and upon application, it absorbs quickly, making it suitable for oily skin as well as layering of other skincare products. It does not leave your skin feeling tacky at all and because of this, I am able to use this serum as part of my skincare routine in the morning since I do not have time to wait for my products to sink into my face.

I also apply this serum at night, after my Mamonde Rose water toner and as per instructions, I apply a bit more on dark spots and blemishes. As it absorbs very quickly, those with dry skin will probably have to pair it with a moisturizer for extra hydration.

It has a fresh, sweet tangerine fragrance which does not smell too artificial or overwhelming. The ingredients are also certified safe by CosDNA, which is a plus point.

After a period of consistent usage, I was amazed at how my skin tone became significantly brighter and my dark spots were also lightened to an extent. I would say, within about 2-3 weeks, my complexion was a lot fairer.

Sadly, I did not observe any visible improvements in the size of my pores despite its claims to do so. Also, do take note that this serum is definitely not a whitening product. It does more in brightening skin tone and lightening pigmentation.

This product is definitely on the pricier side, retailing at SGD54 for a 50ml bottle . However, one bottle can last for a few months as only a thin layer is needed each time. 1-2 pumps is actually sufficient to cover the entire face.
I am loving this product very much and I will gladly repurchase this serum until I find a better one.

This has definitely made it to my list of favorite Innisfree products. It really brightens and releases the radiant glow in your face. Dark spots will probably take a longer time to fade so you will have to be patient and consistent in your usage. However, I will not recommend this product to those who are looking to treat their pores.
