I’ve been hooked up with Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner since the first time I saw Wishtrend’s youtube video. The introduction to this product looked so promising and I was in need of new toner at that time. The toner is targeted for those who want to add moisture to the skin that might be stripped away during the cleansing process. I chose hydrating toner over exfoliating toner because at this moment, I want to treat my dehydrated skin condition and I think to use exfoliating toner every day may be too harsh for my skin. So, I need to suck in all the moisture as much as I can. Read more to find how this toner fared me.

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner Review:
This toner from Klairs is definitely my Holy Grail toner. The texture is slightly thicker than water and the scent is just a faint flowery scent. The texture makes it absorb faster into the skin without leaving any sticky feeling afterward.
This product comes in a black plastic bottle with a screw cap. It is also come with a stopper so that the toner won’t be spill easily and you can adjust the amount that you need freely. Since the material is plastic, it is not heavy at all and if I’m too lazy to transfer the content into travel container, I will throw the bottle inside my bag without worrying too much.
The toner did not break me out and helped my skin to retain the moisture in. My skin felt so smooth and hydrated especially when I used the 3 seconds method — which is to apply the toner 3 seconds after cleansing your face. It sure did help a lot in getting rid of flakes around my nose and lips.
The toner has an acidic pH which is 4.5 and it worked wonderfully for my dehydrated skin. If I felt like my skin needs some mild exfoliation, I will use it with a cotton pad. My skin didn’t feel like being stripped off like when I use exfoliating gel which makes my skin tend to become super sensitive and dehydrated. I also found out that the sheet mask’s essence absorbed faster when I use this toner before that.
For those who don’t have sensitive skin, maybe you will find that this toner is too mild or too gentle for your skin. Then you can choose exfoliating toner. But if you want a great hydrating toner, this one is for you.
This is my third bottle. Definitely will repurchase until I feel bored. Hehe.
