Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Review:
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is the first product recommended to me when I wanted to get on the Korean skincare craze. From then on, I didn’t stop. The flexibility of this product and its performance probably made it the reason why tourists in Korea search and hoard it.

My Skin Type: Oily
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask Review:
I always like the packaging of Laneige products, it looks expensive and fragile because of the frosted blue glass appearance but it’s actually made of hard plastic so it won’t be a problem if you accidentally drop it. It also comes with a plastic spatula so it’ll be more hygienic to scoop the product. Appearance wise, it looks good on my vanity area, though I’d prefer if they will come up with a pump container or even a tube one so it’s more sanitary.
The mask comes in a gel form making it flexible to be used by all skin types especially those with oily skin like me. When I put it on my face, it’s easily gets absorbed and it doesn’t have the sticky feeling other masks and creams leave.
As much as I prefer my skincare products to be fragrance free, I find the scent of this mask is tolerable. Surprisingly it has this calming and soothing effect, which helps me fall asleep at night. I associate the smell to the spa as if I got a facial and massage — it’s that relaxing!
Since I use this as my final step in my 10 step Korean skincare routine, I feel that this locks all the serums I put on my face and maximizes their effect while hydrating it without making me feel greasy. In the morning, my face looks fresh, feels smooth and supple. It minimized my ugly forehead pores and did not break me out in my first few weeks of use. My sister also tried this out (she has dry skin) and it did wonders to her as well — hydrated her thirsty skin which got her hooked up to Korean skincare.
HOLY GRAIL, a must in my skincare routine! Definitely lives up to its promise. Obviously it’s my second tub of this sleeping mask, I will repurchase this over and over again.
