Leaders Aquaringer Skin Clinic Mask Sheet Review:
I was just walking through the renovated super market here, close to my house, and saw a whole section of skincare! It has the supermarket’s brand products, of course, but since this is Korea they also put a few brands on “lesser” (aka cheaper) products such as masks and mists. I swear I wasn’t going to buy any mask, but then I saw a small Leaders group and decided to see what all the fuss on Instagram is about!
This Aquaringer mask appealed to me because of the design (which reminds me of another brand I use), the hydration effect of course, and the wrinkle improvement claim. So, I chose this one to “test” the brand!
Copied and translated from the package (by yours truly) – since they give a lot of information there.

Leaders Aquaringer Skin Clinic Mask Sheet Review:
*ironic laugh* I know you can’t really see it but even though this package is really thin, there’s some plastic inside and I struggled to open it. Of course, I have to let you know I’m really clumsy so I end up opening most things with scissors – which is why I always show how well these mask sheet pouches open!
Other than that, it did open without a mess and without spitting any product out.
For this size of mask this is a very big package. The mask feels really soft, as soft as soaked toilet paper, and it’s really light. It shines with essence, but it doesn’t seem overly full with it since it doesn’t drool all over my hand at this stage.
You can see here the mask is really thin and transparent, and really soft as it falls down like a curtain rather than letting you see where it was folded (as most masks do).
This is a simple swatch. The essence is really transparent, and feels like a liquid gel. It smells really pleasant, of water and plants, and it didn’t fill sticky at all at any point (both in my arm and my face it just absorbed without feeling sticky).
The fitting was mainly good. I didn’t wear my headband on this day so I cut my forehead off the photo since it showed some hairs sticking to the mask and that looks a little weird. BUT the fit (size wise) is basically just a little bit bigger than my face, nothing too bothersome.
It almost fits on my nose, you can see in the circle that it’s almost completely sticking to my nose. Almost. On my cheekbone and chin it was a little loose on the edge, no matter how many times I pressed it in. So the thing to do in these cases is to make sure the most important parts (depends on the person, on the skin type and troubles) are covered by the mask sheet.
While using the mask the scent was very relaxing. It feels similar to most Aqua or hyaluronic acid masks, for those who know that scent. And I left it on for the whole 20 minutes and it didn’t dry, although it dried almost completely (on the table) right after I removed it from my face, in only two minutes.
Since the mask sheet is so thin it feels relaxing and I can move well while it sticks on my face, I didn’t have to worry about it falling off.
So the results? It helped a little, mainly on my smile lines. I honestly felt the mask was overly moisturizing my skin (worries for oily skin) while I had it on and I was worried I would have to cut my skin care routine short because of it. But after the essence absorbed it didn’t feel overly-anything! It felt like it was properly balanced.
Also, I was able to do my skin care normally (minus the essence) and my skin was just as balanced. You know, sometimes hydrating and moisturizing masks can leave your skin oily if you have oily or combination skin, but in this case it really balanced well with my skin.
Although I don’t see as big of a change as I saw in the Mediheal Aqua chip mask regarding the wrinkles, I see some difference after using this mask twice (this is a 2nd time usage review). And when it comes to the scent it really is a very nice scent.
Overall my skin looks really happy. And this mask is very pleasant to use and apparently really brightening (my skin looks really bright, right? Like clear water ).
As I said, this is my second usage and since it’s an affordable mask I’ll keep using it regularly. After trying a lot of masks, I can not say it’s my favorite, but it’s among my favorites , like it’s on the affordable side of those favorites!
