Leaders Clinic Insolution Vaseline Moisturizing Mask Review:
This is the second of the new Vaseline masks from Leaders. I enjoyed the red (nourishing) version enough and gladly when I bought it I also bought this one. This one is moisturizing, and it’s blue (which is less pretty but more accurately similar to Vaseline itself). I use Vaseline literally every day for its repairing abilities. I can tell you right away this mask feels more like Vaseline because of the moisture and skin-repairing part (you’ll see my pores later), and there is not much difference between the two masks. But they are different!
+ It is a soothing moisturizing care Vaseline mask that contains moisturizing ingredients of white mushroom extract, vaseline, and Centella Asiatica extract that calms tired and irritated skin and creates skin moisturizing film.
+ Centella Asiatica and panthenol have calming and moisturizing effects, Vaseline gives a moisturizing effect, and white mushroom hydrates the skin.
+ Triple layer cellulosic fibers mask sheet provides excellent adhesion which can reduce skin friction and give a soft touch.
+ Has skin whitening and anti-wrinkles care to create a smooth and clear skin.
+ Completed skin safety test.
Water, Glycerin, Isopentyldiol, Niancinamide, Methylpropanediol, 1,2-hexanediol, Panthenol, Centella Asiatica Extract, Tremella Fuciformis (Mushroom) Extract, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/vp Copolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Dimethicone, Polysorbate 20, Butylene Glycol, Bis-peg-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Trehalose, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Adesonine, Sodium Polyacrylate Starch, Ethyl Hexanediol, Disodium Edta, Petrolatum (0.001%), Ci 19140
How to use:
1. After washing the face, tidy up the skin texture with the toner.
2. After taking out the mask, unfold the mask and place it on the face with the white net side facing outward while aligning it with the location of the eyes, nose, and mouth.
3. Then, remove the net from the surface.
4. Leave on for 10 to 20 minutes.
5. Remove the mask and gently tap face with fingertips until remaining serum is fully absorbed.

Leaders Clinic Insolution Vaseline Moisturizing Mask Review:
Look what I saw the other day while walking down the street! Maybe I have seen it before I tried the masks, but then again I didn’t notice because I hadn’t tried the masks at the time, but now I saw it! And forgot to upload it on the previous review.
I really like it when I see the commercials for the stuff I use. I don’t know why, but I like it.
Just like they promise, and just like the mask I tried before this one, it’s the easiest opening ever!
I love it and wish more masks were like this – easy and nice and accessible…
Unfortunately, I think the pack is too big for the mask, they could save some vinyl and some environment. Half this size would be more than enough, without folding the mask more than it already is.
You can see my last point, but you can also see that there is almost no essence left in the pouch. That’s okay for me, really…
On the (very) bright side, even after opening it this far there was no splatter or any essence outside of its due place!
If you have my “luck” the mask will be misplaced. Just a little annoying but it doesn’t affect the mask at all.
The mask sheet itself is super soft and gelatinous. It is covered by a mesh. You should apply the mask on your face and then remove the mesh, but last time that didn’t work out for me, so I just removed the mesh and applied the mask.
Now, this is not mandatory, but I would of course suggest if you do that you should apply the non-mesh side to your face. Simply for the fact that that is the side they absorbed the essence in, and it may be unevenly distributed (as was my case today).
The mask has perfect adherence and a really nice fit. I mean, really perfect adherence. Almost as if… it was sticking to your skin through the goodness of Vaseline!
The mask is a medium size, but I still had to fold it a little on my sides. Instead of folding it on my forehead also, I slid it down a little to make it fit the forehead, still cover the under-eye area, and fold under my chin! I love it when a mask folds under my chin.
The mask smells slightly citrus-y, I guess like the other one from this collection, and has a yellow-ish shade (again, like the other mask) that is completely fake and man-added and reminds me of Vaseline.
Now, most of the yellow tone is because of the contrast with the white in the mask, you can see on the swatches later that the essence itself is just not-transparent, which I guess was their goal. I hadn’t noticed this before.
Now, I accidentally poured too much essence for the swatch so in the end I extended it to my whole forearm.
It slides easily, it’s relatively thick, and definitely very sticky. Instead of patting it to absorption (it’s very uncomfortable to do so with the stickiness) I decided to wait for it to absorb by itself.
I remember last time feeling my skin really comfortable but also overly moisturized, and it was just a nourishing mask.
That time I had used it at night and with a full skin care routine.
Now, with this moisturizing mask, I chose to apply a watery toner, hydrating (not moisturizing essence), and after the mask just apply eye cream and a moisturizing agent on my usually dry areas.
Also I’m using it during the day, and with a lot of pollution outside, so I’ll be able to tell you in the end of the day how my skin felt.
Vaseline is supposed to be like a medicine, and is used to protect the skin and the body from many aggressive agents, so that’s what I’m hoping for here.
The immediate feeling and photos I’ll mention right away, and the end-of-the-day part will be a small comment just for you to know how it went.
Before and after.
So, I used it for the full recommended time and the mask didn’t dry, it more like… densified the essence. Which is good, every freaking mask dries under my nose and it’s just so bothersome! But not this one, yay!
My skin looks good and moist! Although I don’t feel much difference from the nourishing mask… It also doesn’t look magical nor did it do wonders for the skin, except that moisture was really on point. It was so moisturizing (without crazy amounts of sebum later on) that my pores even look not-huge, not like a hydrating mask would do but definitely caring for my hydration a little even though it’s a moisturizing mask. (Moisturizing = oil, hydrating = water, our skins have and need both)
Must be thanks to the Sodium Hyaluronate!
It does take forever to absorb the remaining essence and since it’s really sticky I don’t feel comfortable patting it and, just like with my arm, I wait for it to absorb by itself after spreading the most of it evenly.
But after the essence settled and all I still felt the need to wrap this up with my face cream, and that’s what I did.
In the end, even though it felt a little sticky, I think it is a moisturizing mask but it needs to be locked up so it needs your last step.
After applying the cream I must say my skin never felt more comfortable (in the sense that it never felt less dry without being oily).
In the end of the day my skin was exactly the same level of comfort with no more oil than I normally would have. The only reason I felt the need for night skin care (I wouldn’t skip it, but usually I feel like my skin needs renewed attention?) is because I was wearing sun cream and BB cream so I would always feel the need to clean that off.
Oh, and by the way, the BB cream settled on my skin amazingly after this mask! So did my eyebrow powder.
It’s not a magical spa mask, but it is really good for skins that need moisture and it doesn’t affect the skin care or makeup negatively at all!
I will purchase this one again.
But I don’t recommend it if you can’t get over the sticky feeling after the mask, until you apply the rest of the skin care.
As for my skin needs specifically, this one definitely fits more than the red (nourishing) one, even though the differences aren’t crazy huge.
