[REVIEW] Leaders Clinic Insolution Vaseline Nourishing Mask

Leaders Clinic Insolution Vaseline Nourishing Mask Review:

This Vaseline mask is everywhere! On the bus commercial, on tv, on Lee Seung Gi’s face… and now on Cosmeperks! Yay!

About this mask, I want to emphasize that it isn’t a mask full of Vaseline: there is some petrolatum and they used tartrazine to color it like Vaseline, but that is… it. But the inventor of Vaseline deeply believed in his product. He ate a spoonful of it every day. He also had a serious disease and spread Vaseline all over his body… and recovered soon!

So, since Vaseline is a caring and repairing product, that’s what I’m expecting of this product! A mask that copies and concentrates the effects of Vaseline.

+ It is a nourishing care mask contains the moisturizing substance of milk protein extract and vaseline, provides healthy and revitalizing skin care.

This mask has a thing that even my boyfriend commented on: easy opening. It works then it’s already the best mask when it comes to opening the package.

Since you don’t rip nor cut through the pack there is no splatter, since it’s an easy opening there is no struggle either!

And this is as easy as the photo shows. I loved that.

Now, once you open it you get to remove the mask. And one would think “Cool, I can also remove all that leftover essence super easily” – Beep. Wrong. Simply because there is almost no leftover essence…

Anyway, you can see here what I mentioned regarding the coloring. They added yellow coloring so that the mask would be Vaseline colored. If you don’t believe me, check your own Vaseline pot!

The mask, obviously, comes out of the pack very easily. It feels heavy on my hand.

The essence is tremendously dense, I can’t even begin to compare it to other masks. My creams are usually less dense than this!

But, although it’s thick and takes forever to absorb, it feels quite nice on my arm – but we will see how it goes on the face.

It smells of plants, not of Vaseline (gladly? Even though Vaseline has a super weak smell). I think it smells of sage. It’s nice and not too overpowering.

It has amazing adherence and a very good fit. At first I tried to apply it with the mesh, as they suggest, then remove the mesh, but when I did that the mask came with it. So I just separated them and applied the mask alone.

In the end it was a little bit sticky on my face, and it took forever to absorb. But it was also super nourishing while somehow also giving my skin the necessary hydration to keep my pores happy and plump.

I find it too nourishing for a day mask but gladly I used it at night. The shine you see on my face never really went away, so that emphasizes the night mask thing.

My skin is aging and reacting to the dry weather as well as pollution, so this mask really did the end result of applying Vaseline on my face and steaming it – minus the clogged pores.

I absolutely loved the results (5/5) but it has no spa or magic feeling at all (literally 0/5). And I mean, at all. Whereas it’s not a relaxing mask, with these results and this adherence it’s worth doing it while doing something else.

For the results I consider it a good mask. Because even though we all enjoy the Saturday night spa, every day results are needed and this is an affordable (and hey, time saving) way of doing it.

Definitely recommend for the results!

Also I’m guessing aged and dry skins would love these results too.
