[Review] Lindsay All in One Energizing Gold Modeling Mask

Lindsay All in One Energizing Gold Modeling Mask Review:

I’ve been having long days lately and I am starting to feel like a zombie, yet again. I honestly need some serious pampering.  And as much as I would like to visit facial clinic/spa, I would rather spend my free time in bed (in pajamas) because it’s more comforting than a trip to spa. What?! Fully air-conditioned room, comforter and a nice read doesn’t sound as appealing to you?! Times like this, I would usually slap a sheet mask in between but I feel that I deserve much more pampering than what they tend to offer. So I decided to step up my masking game with Lindsay All in One Energizing Gold Modeling Mask. Apparently, Lindsay is a brand of modeling masks that are being used in Korean spa and now they come in packets so we can bring home the bacon! Err, I definitely meant spa!

Lindsay All-in-One Gold Modeling Mask is a premium modeling mask that removes wastes and dead skin cells to help moisture and nutrients sink into the skin. It contains alginate and gold powder which enhances moisture effect and power of skin nutrition.

Lindsay All in One Energizing Gold Modeling Mask Review Review:

I don’t usually care for instructions but since I’m pretty new to modeling mask, I followed each and every direction as much as I can! So imagine my dismay when I shake the pouch to make sure that the powder fall to the bottom of the pouch yet I still get a lot of loose powders as I open the packet.

Brace yourselves girls! It’s gonna get real messy from here on out! Inside the packet you would see yellow powder with specks of gold with no discernible scent. It also includes a pink spoon which serves as a measuring spoon of 10ml capacity. Since it is suggested that you mix the powder with 70-80ml of water, basically, you have to fill this spoon 7 or 8 times.

I was afraid that it would be way too goopy or dry really fast so I settled with 80ml of water. The end of the spoon is ideal to use in mixing since it’s so thin it can easily reach the powder that sits at the folds of the packet.

I also used it to apply the modeling mask on my face –I started at my cheeks because to make sure that I would be able to cover it well and finally working it on my entire face.

Lindsay All in One Energizing Gold Modeling Mask Review

I applied this mask thickly on the edges so it won’t have a hard time peeling it off. But even if applied generous amount on my entire face, there was still a lot of leftover. I didn’t want to waste so I slathered it on my neck. Now I want to talk about how it feels on the skin –which would probably be the main reason as to why I would repurchase this product (spoiler alert!).

Lindsay All in One Energizing Gold Modeling Mask has a very cooling effect which I really loved and no, ma’am I did not use cool water on this mixture! Sure, the whole process is messy but I feel that it is all worth it. There wasn’t any itchiness or stinging detected when I applied it on my face. There was just this cooling and soothing sensation that I deeply appreciate because it is exactly what I needed right now.

It was just so calming that I end up lying in my bed, closed my eyes and forgot pretty much about everything including the prescribed time of wearing it. You see it is prescribed that you leave it on your face for 15-20 minutes and I definitely went overboard. I started feeling a little itchy so I decided to take the mask off.

The modeling mask is so easy to peel off. It doesn’t hurt and would’ve come in one piece if it weren’t for facial curves. I have noticed few red patches (skin bordering my lower lip and neck) but it may be due to my negligence, I really should start minding the prescribed time of usage.

But besides that, I love the effects of this mask on my skin! My skin looked a little brighter and I’ve noticed that my pores shrunk. I honestly feel that this product could help with sebum because I also noticed that it somehow mattified my face.

Overall, I love Lindsay All-in-One Gold Modeling Mask and I would definitely repurchase this. I feel that it would be an okay product to any skin type but I would highly recommend this to people with combination to oily skin.

  1. I have been going to these facial treatments things and when they’re done they use a mask like this to close the pores. They suggested I try to do deep cleansing at home like they do there, so I think I will get my hands on this specific mask and try to use it as they do, to close the pores at the end of everything. I am quite afraid of modeling masks because I’m a clutz, is it easy to apply by yourself or should I ask someone to apply it on me? ^^’

    • It’s easy to apply, actually. It’s gotten messy bc I forced to use the foil pack since I was too lazy haha. I suggest you empty it in a mixing bowl, application is a breeze just start thinly and buildup. This mask is worth the mess bc it significantly reduced the size of my pores
