I’ve been loving the renewed version of the Mamonde tint color balms, both light (glossy finish) and intense (velvet matte finish). These balms have been really popular in South Korea and other parts of Asia due to their affordability and high quality. It also contains more products than an average lipstick which is definitely worth the money.
The shade range is spectacular, there are various shades of n*des, pinks, corals, and reds (including brick reds and burgundy). The new version promises high adherence without drying out lips, convenience, and true color. They come in a twist-up tube for easy application without a hassle. Korean actress Park Shin Hye has also endorsed in Mamonde’s lip products, which caused hype for these amazing lip crayons. She had used it in several Korean dramas and it looked wonderful on her!

Mamonde Creamy Tint Color Balm Light & Intense Review:
I purchased a variety of shades to add to my collection, however, the ones that I swatched are my favorites and have been my go-to lately. I must say, they exceeded my expectations – I did not think that these would be part of my holy grail stash!
First off, the formula for both is amazing without a doubt. Instead of using a lip gloss for my chapped lips, the light balms do not highlight the flakiness of my lips, particularly in winter. They are extremely pigmented and hydrating, which also leaves a beautiful stain on the lips even after eating.
A little goes a long way, I often find myself smudging the tints to form a gradated look, however, they are easily buildable to create a more vibrant look without feeling too heavy.
As for the intense balms, the formula is something I’ve never tried before. They are very different from the usual tints that I have, such as Peripera’s Ink the Velvet and Ink Airy, which require getting your fingers a little bit messy during application. The Mamonde intense balms, on the other hand, go on smooth and velvety and it does not feel like you have any product on your lips! How cool is that?
The shades that I have swatched are 02 Peach Pop (light), 09 Red Brown (light), 15 Velvet Coral (intense), and 11 Velvet Red (intense).
Peach Pop: A light glossy finish with a hint of orange/peach tint, wearable for every occasion.
Red Brown: A pigmented glossy shade with a hint of brown mixed with red, great for a night out!
Velvet Coral: Semi-matte finish, a muted beige/coral shade that completes a summer look.
Velvet Red: Semi-matte finish, this soft matte red enhances a fuller lip, without being overly drying.
There is no noticeable scent on this lip product, which I appreciate as most Korean lip tints contain a sweet fragrance taste that can be too overwhelming at times.
