Mediheal Aqua Chip Circle Point Mask Sheet was purchased by Cosmeperks.
When Cosmeperks contacted me and sent me a photo of the mask I honestly didn’t notice anything about it. It was not until I got in the store and grabbed it that I noticed it had circles, it had pressure points, I didn’t notice how special it was until I had it in my hand. And I admit, at the time I really had to control myself not to buy one of each from the same collection!
Please read the review because I promise you won’t see many masks with pressure points. Could it be your own Oriental medicine aesthetic clinic at home?

Mediheal Aqua Chip Circle Point Mask Sheet Review:
So, I washed my face with my current favorite cleanser because when you try a new mask you have to do the full spa treatment! And then I applied (my also favorite) toner as they said. At this point I am both ready and excited to try this!
The mask pouch didn’t open as easily as they usually do, I guess it must be slightly thicker than most. But regardless, it was easy and comfortable to open (I didn’t have to use scissors and there was no mess so it was easy enough and comfortable).
As soon as you remove the mask from the pouch you see the circles. They are not discreet at all, to make it easy for you to place them on the appropriate points.
On one side of the mask the circles will have these small “jewels”. You will want them on the inner side (touching your face) since you’ll have the mission to massage those points later.
I tried matching the points with the photo as best as I could, although you can see that to do that my nose lifts the mask from its sides all the way up to my eyes. Nonetheless, since this mask has the function to reduce wrinkles I chose to pay attention to the points instead!
You’re supposed to place your finger on each circle and press gently two to three times. Of course I tried to do it gently but I didn’t know how gentle I was supposed to be and hurt myself on the first try. So I’ll stress that they really meant really gently (especially on the forehead where it’s hard and you’ll hurt yourself more).
The scent of the essence at first was pleasant like the Hyaluronic Acid mask from Aritaum, but then it changed to something weird that I didn’t like at all. I didn’t dislike it enough to walk away from the product, but let’s just say the “after scent” isn’t my thing. Since it is not a strong scent anyway, I don’t see any reason to stop masking, right?
The essence itself is dense but not creamy as you can see. It’s also very slippery and not sticky at all while spreading, and feels very light on the skin. But after there’s nothing else to spread it does become a little sticky, a feeling that goes away once it absorbs.
In my case the mask sheet started feeling a little dry under mu nose after 15 minutes, and when you feel it getting dry it means the time to remove the mask has come.
This mask also has a lot of essence inside the pouch, I made sure to use it on my neck.
Okay, this is amazing. I’m sure it’s just a temporary effect but I have slight expression wrinkles on my forehead and corners of my mouth (I am generally a happy person so I appreciate those wrinkles!) and now you almost can’t see them at all! Although the wrinkles don’t bother me at all I’m sure whenever I go film for television or something I’ll use this mask before just to make sure!
The brightening effect they talk about is not a whitening effect, but the type of brightness of a bright smile, a “happy skin”.
What about the points? Consider them pressure points, like in Oriental Medicine. They felt relaxing with the gentle massage I gave them, but as the mask rested on my face it felt even more relaxing.
Also, I must say this because it’s rare, once I removed the mask the essence almost absorbed by itself, I didn’t need to massage it until it was absorbed (except on my U zone).
BUT even though most masks replace the essence step, this one really doesn’t so make sure to continue your skin care fully.
So, did I like the smell? No, no I didn’t. But it was amazingly good in its results!
Since it doesn’t dehydrate nor moisturize the skin I think all skin types can use it, as long as they do their normal skin care afterwards. As I said, it doesn’t even replace the essence, so don’t skip that either if you usually use it.
I am also curious about the remaining masks from this collection (which hopefully have a more pleasant scent). I will definitely purchase this again before having an HD camera pointed at my face.
