Minnavi Time Release Delivery 7 Day Mask Sheet Review:
I got this mask recently from a brand I had never heard of before. But the design was appealing and I felt “rich” so I decided to pamper myself a little and got this pack of masks. It’s above the price range I usually go for (I tend to buy more 1$ masks than other masks), but sometimes you just feel like treating yourself. So, I did. It was a huge leap for me, but was it worth it?

Minnavi Time Release Delivery 7 Day Mask Sheet Review:
Before I start I just want to say: wow a cruelty-free product!
I know they aren’t that uncommon, but it always makes me happy to know they didn’t test anything on an animal, nor used animal parts to make the product I’m wearing. The reason why I think it’s ridiculous for a product not to be cruelty free or not tested on animals is because you can always either use materials that have been previously tested and thus are guaranteed not to harm humans, and because you can test them on (for example) pig skin (the ones that go to the slaughter house and their skin is wasted). Of course on products like snail slime or horse oil there are animal parts there, but that doesn’t mean that other animals have to be tested on!
The mask opened quite easily and not in any weird or bothersome fashion.
You can see here that the mask comes pretty soaked and looks very light. You can also see on the close up there’s a gentle texture on the mask, letting it absorb more essence onto the small holes you see there.
The mask, after I spread it open, I can see it’s really light. As physically light as the ones from the Aritaum mask collection. It also seems relatively transparent. But, by comparison, this one seems softer to the touch.
I apologize for the really bad and blurry photo. But I wanted to share it anyway. For once in my life the mask fits my face (eyes, nose, everything) without tricks or without having to adapt it so it fits! I rarely ever encounter a mask that fits, and this one does so it counts as a really good point in favor of this mask.
This is a simple swatch I made while the mask was settling on my face. The essence is really liquid, but it’s not uncomfortable. At this point I want to talk about the smell. The scent is good but it is a little strong and I’m sure sensitive noses won’t like it. For normal noses it is an okay amount of intensity. To describe the smell I want to say it’s similar to make cosmetics and at the same time it smells like the sea – so it’s not something that would bother neither a girl nor a guy, and scent wise I think both should be able to use it. And even though it has a scent (then again, most masks have some) it didn’t burn on my skin at all! Usually the watery type of essences burns a little when the scent is this strong, but this one didn’t so I guess they used some good quality product to make it.
Both while the mask was on and the after feeling were very pleasant and nice, light in weight and light as in airy. After using it, my skin was hydrated and moisturized but not heavy nor oily. Again, my skin is combination skin so it needs a proper amount of hydration and moisture, a drier skin would need more moisture and an oilier skin I think would be fine with this mask too. So, if your skin is dry but you get your hands on this mask all you have to do is proceed with your moisturizing skin care afterwards!
After using this Minnavi mask I didn’t apply skin care products for around 20 minutes, out of curiosity, and my skin was not dry nor did it react or produce oil.
And there is a lot of product on the pouch, so be sure to make use of it afterwards!
As a conclusion I must say I don’t usually buy these expensive masks but this one really seems worth it to me. There are many masks that don’t adapt well to my combination (tending to oily) skin, but this one really does. So, whenever I’m feeling generous to myself I will definitely get my hands on this again!
