[REVIEW] Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice

Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice Review:

Frankly speaking, I always find it tricky to do product review toward sheet masks. I personally think that one shouldn’t make opinion or verdict only by just once usage. You know, sheet masks always claim something ‘woah’ like ‘nourishes skin’, ‘make skin bright and glossy’, or even ‘improve skin texture’, but I’ve never wished a pipe dream like those after waking up in the morning (I always use the sheet mask before a night-sleep). And I hope you think the same, because I’m afraid the first thing you’ll find in the morning is disappointment.

However, that doesn’t mean I’m an anti. To put it better, I’m actually a big fan of sheet masks. Sheet masks are very beneficial for the skin, that’s why I frequently use a sheet mask each week. I just want you to lower your expectations and be realistic, since those admiring effect couldn’t be seen by using only one or two masks.

Since I frequently use a sheet mask, I’ve rambled around many brands and types of sheet masks so I hope my review would be objective and helpful. I don’t usually review a sheet mask, unless it leaves a lingering feeling or some impression to me, just like what MISSHA Airy Fit Sheet Mask – Rice does.

Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice Review:

My review on sheet masks generally based on these things : the sheet mask’s size and thickness, the essence’s amount and smell, the feeling after taking it off and washing my face, and the after-usage feeling until two days later.

But before that, let me do a brief review about the packaging.

MISSHA Airy Fit Sheet Mask – Rice has a decent square packaging like other sheet masks products. The front part has big rice illustrations on it, peach-colored. On the upper right, there’s a tiny writing : ‘ampoule type’. I’ll explain this later. All information like product claims, directions, volume are all written in English on the rear part except for ingredients.

Oh and the packaging contains additional information about its promises and advertisements, which aren’t common in other brands.

Missha Airy Fit Mask Sheet Rice Review

This rice mask leaves some good impression to me. It has a lot of essence, soaked in a thin sheet mask. I said ‘thin’, because any other sheet masks usually thicker than this. The sheet mask’s size is smaller than the others too, especially in the vertical length. I found this beneficial, since I always put a folded-everywhere sheet mask due to its big size. This sheet mask sticks to my face more perfectly rather than usual sheet masks, thanks to its thickness and size.

The essence itself is quite a lot, transparent-colored and slightly scented. Its texture is quite viscous, as declared before that this mask is ampoule-type. In short, an ampoule-type sheet mask moisturizes your skin more than a watery-type like cucumber or aloe variant, because of its ‘heavier’ content of the essence.

This amount of essence helps sheet mask attached to my face better. Missha also explained a little bit by saying : ‘High concentrated ampoule-type essence which is moist and nutritious’ at the back.

After using MISSHA Airy Fit Sheet Mask – Rice, I could say that my face is moisturized. It feels smoother and hydrated, especially since my face was quite rough lately. I don’t need to pat-pat the leftover essence too, since it has absorbed perfectly.

Thus, the smooth feeling was still there when I washed my face using a cleansing foam, even after two days passed. It could be concluded that this mask not only moisturize the skin, but also nourish it from the inside.

As you can see above, this mask accentuate the claim about its adhesion and after-usage effect. I‘m agree with ‘perfect and sticky adhesion’ and ‘help to make skin smooth’. However, I couldn’t say it provides clean gloss as it couldn’t be said so only by using the sheet mask once.

Looking at its content and effect, I’d like to recommend MISSHA Airy Fit Sheet Mask Rice for anyone. It doesn’t make my skin greasy despite the rich essence, nor contains any harmful ingredients too according to cosdna (all safety index score 1, which accentuate its safety).
