Missha Glow Lip Blush Just Me Review:
Impressed with how the Glow Skin Balm worked on my oily skin, I finally purchased other product from the Glow collection from Missha. This time I got the Glow Lip Blush which they advertised as a ‘2 in 1’ product that can be used as a lip color and as a blush. I’m not the type that use lip product for my blush so I didn’t give too much thought about how it will perform on me, I only curious if it will perform well on the lips.
Missha describe it as a ‘glowing’ lip color with a good pigmentation and moisturizing yet doesn’t feel sticky at the same time. Usually I don’t like glossy lip product that much because I hate the stickiness but because Missha said it’s not sticky (along with great pay-off), of course I have to try it myself.
They have 8 shades to choose from and honestly I love all of the shades. The shades range are mainly n*des and pinks so it’s really perfect for my go-to lips for working or any other daily activities. I had a hard time in choosing only 1 shade but I finally decided to get #Just Me since it was advertised as one of their ‘main’ shade.

Missha Glow Lip Blush Just Me Review:
I really love the packaging. With all the rose gold lid and white, elegant font on it makes this product much more beautiful and give elegant feeling. The price is not too high or affordable but it’s right in the middle. It’s quite surprising for me though because with this kind of packaging, usually Missha will sell it in high price.
It has the most unique applicator I’ve ever seen from a lip product. It’s not like any other doe-foot applicator but it has a curvy shape like a guitar. It has round tip and I was not sure if it will apply the tint well especially on my thin lips. Turns out, the applicator actually really helps in distributing the shade because of the round shape. I usually twist the wand and it distributes the tint better and make the tint looks smoother on my lips.
From those 8 shades, I got mine in one of the most neutral shades in the collection called #Just Me. On the swatch, the pigmentation isn’t that vivid but that maybe because of how light the shade is. I have to wear at least 2 layers of the tint to get the shade shows up on my lips. At first I thought it would be too light for me but actually it’s not!
On my skin, it shows as a light neutral beige shade that will suit fair and light complexion the best. I chose this shade not only because it’s the main shade but also it looks like a shade that will be perfect when I just want to wear something light and not a bright or deep-colored lip product.
I think this type of shade will look a bit too light for deeper skin tone but no worries, you can always use this shade as your lip topper or as a pigmented lip gloss on top of your lipstick. You can use it on top of a bold or deep lipstick and it will lighten the shade a bit and make your lips look glossy and plump.
If you saw the advertisement picture, then you must’ve known that this has a glossy finish with a sheer pigmentation. From its claim, it’s basically an oil tint that has 2 in one function, one for lip color and one for blush. I’m not too sure if it will be a perfect product for blush because in my opinion, it’s an oil tint and most of the times oil tint won’t look too good as a blush especially on oily skin.
I decided to give it a try and used it as a blush and wear it to work. Honestly it’s a bit too oily and sticky for my liking but surprisingly, it blends really well! It blends even better than my liquid blush from Peripera. I only have to apply 3 dots on each cheek and blend it with a sponge. Because I got a light shade, my cheeks look like they have a natural flush. Sadly it fades really fast and if you are they type who can’t stand sticky blush, you can set it with a powder then top it with a powder blush with a same color or tone.
But as a lip product, I have to say that it’s one of the best lip product I’ve ever tried. It’s an oil tint but it’s not as slippery as other oil tints I’ve tried before and it’s really moisturizing! It feels like I wear a lip balm and it’s really comfortable on the lips. I won’t say it’s lightweight since some of you may find this tint too oily but for me who has dry patches on the lips, this product is like a heaven-sent.
For the lasting power, it’s not the best on the market, it last until I ate something but even after the shade faded, my lips doesn’t feel dry at all. It doesn’t leave a stain but it’s really easy to retouch even without looking at a mirror. The formula is so forgiving (means you don’t have to be careful when applying this tint) and there’s no dry or any uncomfortable feeling at all even after I re-apply the tint over and over. To be honest I can say this tint even beats my favorite A’Pieu Juicy Pang Tint!
I highly recommend this product. I promise you will love it as much as I do, even my friend who doesn’t like wearing a lip product said this tint feels really good on her lips so it shows how good it is. It’s really worth the price and I already ordered another color to try!
