MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule Review:

Many of you know that a very important part of the Korean skincare regimen is the serum or the ampoule, because that is the active part of the skincare regimen that provides targeted results for specific skin concerns. This step is my personal favorite part of my skincare regimen because I can customize my serum for my immediate concern. As usual, anti-aging and prevention of fine lines/wrinkles is always at the top of my list. I like to switch things up in my routine, because using the same product can be a little boring for me. That’s when I came across the MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule. Although the name is long and sounds complicated, the results are simple! The MISSHA Time Revolution Ampoule claims to reduce the signs of aging and increase the skin’s elasticity. The key ingredient for this claim is a fermented yeast known as Bifida Ferment Lysate. I decided to try out this product because I had not yet tried any skincare product with this fermented yeast ingredient, and I was curious to see how it would suit my skin. The yeast is key for anti-aging because not only does it address wrinkles and decreased skin elasticity, it also protects and repairs the skin overnight. MISSHA is a well known brand with cult favorite products, so I had faith in this ampoule. Let’s see how this ampoule lived up to its name.

The MISSHA Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule claims to be an anti-aging product that improves elasticity of the skin, decreases the signs of premature aging, clears your complexion, and claims to provide a dewy complexion. Over time, this ampoule will create an even skin tone with a smooth and luminous finish. This is also safe for sensitive skin & skin prone to acne.

First of all, the texture of this product is amazing! It is viscous yet light, and not too watery. The fragrance is very mild, almost to the point of no fragrance so it would be perfect for those with sensitive skin. The Bifida Ferment Lysate is listed as the second ingredient, which is important because it is the main and active ingredient in this ampoule. The ampoule is housed in an ombre purple bottle, which makes it easy to visualize the amount of product left in the container.

The packaging is also high quality and sturdy, so I would call it a win for the pricepoint. I have been using this product for about 5-6 weeks now, alternating it and using it every other night. I have not yet noticed any disappearance of fine lines, but I do not expect such drastic results for fine lines to occur immediately with a product.

The MISSHA Time Revolution Ampoule absorbs well in my skin and does not feel overly greasy. When I wake up in the morning, I have not noticed any visible decrease in fine lines. However, my skin feels smoother and my complexion looks brighter. One of my skin concerns is to have a clear and bright complexion, and the MISSHA ampoule certainly delivers smoothness and even skin tone with regular usage.

Overall, The MISSHA Time Revolution Ampoule is suitable for all skin types, especially sensitive and acne prone skin. Although it does not give drastic and quick results for erasing fine lines or wrinkles, it does smooth the skin and provides a clearer complexion.

This product is worth purchasing because a little bit goes a long way. After 6 weeks of using it, I still have more than half of the bottle left over so it certainly lasts for an extended period of time. Best of all, this product is often compared to the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum and it provides the same results at a lower price point, so it is certainly worth purchasing!

  1. Lucky that it worked well with your skin! I have used this before but only for a few nights because I got few zits when I incorporated this in my routine. Good thing I’ve only bought the deluxe size.
