[REVIEW] Mizon Acence Mark-X Blemish After Cream

Mizon Acence Mark-X Blemish After Cream Review:

I have been battling acne for about 3-4 years now. So far I have managed to come on top but as you can imagine now I have to deal with the aftermath of acne. If you yourself have had acne you know that after you have “cured” it, you are left with lovely blemishes, scars and even hyperpigmentation.

So of course I needed a product to help me deal with these consequences of acne. That is how I stumbled across the Mizon Acence Mark-X Blemish After Cream. All the promises this cream made seemed just too good to be true so naturally I had to try it out for myself.

♥ Mizon claims that this cream will improve the appearance of your blemish-scarred skin.

♥ It is supposed to have an anti-inflammatory and lightening formula, which minimizes the look of blemishes, scarring and pigmentation.

♥ This product contains propolis, which fights bacteria, evens out the skin tone and reduces the discoloration of the skin.

♥  In conclusion this cream is supposed to lighten blemishes and discoloration from old spot, and also reduces the redness of freshly formed or squeezed pimples thus leaving our complexion clear and healthy-looking.

How to use:

Given the small amount of product I’m sure you won’t be surprised you are only supposed to use it locally.

In other words, you have to apply a small amount on the blemish spots or scarring you want to treat. It is also advisable you dab it for better absorption.

My Skin Type: Combination, acne-prone, sensitive and on occasion – dull and with dry patches

Mizon Acence Mark-X Blemish After Cream Review:

The cream is on the thicker side, yellowish and has a light scent, which I can’t really make out. The texture, like I previously mentioned is a bit thick but it does absorb relatively fast into the skin. Also keep in mind that a little goes a long way.

As for the ingredients, firstly, I would like to mention that the cream is free from mineral oil, talc and parabens. It does contain 12.5% propolis extract, which as you all probably know has soothing, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and moisturizing properties.

It also contains niacinamide for brightening, centella asiatica extract for reconstruction of the skin, lemon extract for both reconstruction and brightening, olive oil for moisturizing and many more good ingredients for the skin.

It comes in a plastic tube with a screw-on cap. The tube itself is easily squeezable so you can be sure you’re going to get all of the product out. Personally, I really like the packaging.

Mizon Acence Mark-X Blemish After Cream Review

I have used it for about 3 or 4 months now. To be completely honest I did have my doubts about this cream but I am really glad it proved me wrong. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the appearance of my acne scarring when I first started using the cream and now.

Of course the scars aren’t completely gone but you know this thing takes time, it’s not an overnight process. Overall, I’m fairly impressed by this cream, it really does what it promises to do.

I would definitely recommend this cream to anyone fighting post acne scarring. If you are consistent with using it, you will definitely notice a difference in your skin. I think it is suitable for all skin types.

Plus, it really isn’t that expensive, I know the amount looks small but seeing how you just need the tiniest amount you will be using this cream for a long time. I will surely repurchase the cream again when I run out.
