[REVIEW] Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub

Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub Review:

As skincare addicts, we all know how important step #3 is in our routine, which is exfoliation. I have a sensitive skin, so it was pretty hard for me to look for an exfoliant since most of them are pretty harsh on the skin when massaged. The Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub is one of the first exfoliants I have tried, and since then, it is never gone in my skincare list.

Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub Review:

The Mizon Honey Black Sugar is a good go-to when you feel like there’s a lot of sebum, makeup impurities and dryness on your skin. This scrub is used as skincare step #3, which is the exfoliation. I personally love this product for the reason that it really cleanses your skin deeply without the stretchy feeling.

I also use the Skinfood Black Sugar, and the results for both brands are the same. While the Skinfood Black Sugar have to be on your face for 10-15 mins, this Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub only needs 5 minutes of your time! This is a good go-to especially when you are in a hurry and can’t just use a lot of time in exfoliating. They also have the same scent, but the Skinfood Black Sugar has the stronger one.

Unlike the Skinfood, this product is formulated well, since I didn’t have to add water in it. You can still add water if you feel like the sugar scrub is too rough in texture though. Whenever I use it, I feel the deep cleansing and exfoliation happening when I use this product.

It scrubs gently while leaving no irritations after washing off, which made me really happy. My skin feels soft, moisturize, and clean after use. It doesn’t leave that greasy feeling residue. After using this product, I put on my toner and cream. I feel as though my skin absorbs it much better.

Although you may not want to do it everyday because this could alter the pH of your skin if used often. I personally opt in using it every other day, or the least would be 2x a week.

I also tried using this Mizon Honey Black Sugar Scrub on my lips as well. And to my surprise, it is also effective! It not only saves your $$$ from buying another product for the lips but it also leaves your lips very soft.

The best part in this product? The usual saying that “a little goes a long way”! This is my 4th jar, since I am sharing this with my brother as well! I have been using the Mizon Black Sugar Scrub for 2 years already. Though I wish they would reformulate it and remove the parabens.

I would recommend this to all skin types, but for those with very sensitive skin, just make sure to add a few more drops of water to make it more gentle. This product really removes impurities and just leaves your skin soft and supple.
