[Review] My Beauty Diary Witch Hazel Oil Control Essence Mask Sheet

My Beauty Diary Witch Hazel Oil Control Essence Mask Sheet Review:

Witch hazel is known for its calming and soothing properties which is why this is often found in many anti-acne skincare products. It has powerful antioxidants and astringent effects that can kill bacteria and prevent further skin damage, that can is also crucial for pore care.

Its active astringent properties involve tannins and polyphenols that can effectively removes excess oil on skin that causes clogged pores and acne. Many consider witch hazel as a natural acne treatment that is also anti-inflammatory and protects skin from free radicals and pollution.

My usual go-to acne sheet masks are tea tree and propolis and bee venom ones and I must say, My Beauty Diary Witch Hazel Oil-Control Essence Mask Sheet produced stellar results when I was dealing with PMS spots.

Apart from witch hazel extract, this sheet mask contains essential essences from kiwi, orange and licorice that brightens skin tone and is filled with vitamins and minerals to nourish skin. These fruit essences can also prevent any blemishes and improve skin tone and regulate oils.

The ginko biloba leaves and bilbeery and pomelo also balances out skin’s moisture and reduces shine, leaving clearer skin. Rose oils, neroli and vetiver can cleans and purify skin and deeply hydrate. These floral oils helps skin retain its bounce, making it more soft, brighter and youthful.

My Beauty Diary Witch Hazel Oil-Control Essence Mask Sheet also uses a special “Multi Silk” formula that is filled with amino acids, peptides and silk fibroin that leaves skin texture silky soft which claims to work better than collagen.

My Beauty Diary Witch Hazel Oil Control Essence Mask Sheet Review:

My Beauty Diary sheet masks are absolutely fantastic for me, fit is great, essence aplenty and it exactly does what each mask claims it will. The My Beauty Diary Witch Hazel Oil Control Essence Mask Sheet is a very reliable one when it comes to combating red spots, bumps, acne and pimples.

My Beauty Diary Witch Hazel Oil Control Essence Mask Sheet Review

The sheet mask material is very thin and delicate, totally soaked in essence and possesses the perfect fit for me, to the eye holes, nose flap and mouth hole. I was totally impressed.

I have a red bump on my cheek from PMS and this mask is a very hard working one. The scent is really lovely– fresh, floral and botanical. The essence is clear and watery, there’s plenty left in the pouch despite being only 20 ml. I will use the remaining essence for a DIY compressed sheet mask.

I have worn this mask for 25 minutes, it was really enjoyable, refreshing and cooling, soothing and calming, I almost forgot about my red bump.

When I removed mask, my skin was so even toned, any redness or patchy irritations are gone. My red bump? Flattened and no trace of inflammation at all, it’s like it never happened.

As I have mentioned, I always use tea tree or propolis/bee venom for acne treatment but I think this sheet mask is so effective that it rivals these equally powerful ingredients.

This sheet mask is perfect for those with oily skin and those who wants to treat and stop their growing acne, all with fast results. This witch hazel mask is also cooling to the skin, so it’s perfect for hotter weather. The essence is very light and runny, so this mask is more of a astringent mask than a hydrating sheet mask, this might not be the best for those who are on the drier side and those who are looking for intense moisturizing action.

My skin was also noticeably clear and bright. Highly recommended.
