[Review] Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Lotion

Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Lotion Review:

Tea tree is a powerful, natural antiseptic with potent antibacterial properties that can reduce and heal acne and other skin irritations and inflammations. Naruko’s Tea Tree night gelly is my favorite spot treatment that instantly heals any emerging bumps or pimples plus, leaving my skin refreshed, soothed and calmer.

I was searching for a tea tree toner that wouldn’t dry out my skin so I went ahead and tried Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Lotion which acts like a very light emulsion or a thick, hydrating toner with an addicting herbal scent.

Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Lotion is a cooling skin lotion that can absorb and control oils that can also eliminate stubborn acne and pimples. This skin lotion can balance out oil-water absorption of the skin and leave skin deeply cleansed and bright.

Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Lotion Review:

I am a huge fan of Naruko’s Tea Tree line which I use during breakouts or when my skin is feeling irritated. I wanted to try the tea tree toner however, was scared that it might be too drying so I opted for Naruko’s Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Lotion instead that has a thicker, viscous quality.

I often layer my toners and this is my last step when I use the three skin method in layering my hydrating toners. This tea tree emulsion is so strong in fragrance, it smells of a herbal, botanical garden right up your nose. If you are sensitive to scents, this might put you off but most Naruko products possess powerful botanical scents.

Despite being thick and viscous almost like mucus, this emulsion toner hybrid is instantly absorbed by my skin, making it tingle a little bit. A cooling, refreshing sensation washes all over my face, it’s very exhilirating I always look forward to using this.

The bottle is a sturdy high quality plastic bottle, I imagine it will not break easily. I only need a few shakes from the bottle as it can dispense the thick, viscous liquid very easily. I use about four to five shakes to get the product out since I use this lotion very deliberately which will last me around three months. Longer if use this sparingly, probably six months.

I attribute lesser breakouts and redness from Naruko’s Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Lotion in tandem with a tea tree foam cleanser I use in the shower.

My skin is not only refreshed and less oily, this lotion can brighten up my skin and make it clearer and very even toned. My skin is not dried out from this but feeling hydrated enough yet matte.

This can be used by all skin types but sensitive types should proceed with caution since this tea tree emulsion has alcohol. Oily and combination skin types can greatly benefit from this emulsion since it can control oils and lessen breakouts.

I also think this is a good emulsion to use during the summer. A definite repurchase for me, plus I love the scent.
