[Review] Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask

Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask Sheet Review:

Tea tree is an excellent natural antiseptic that also has powerful antibacterial and antimicrobial properties that can treat most skin infections and diseases. This special oil can also soothe skin redness and even eczema and psoriasis including dermatitis. Troubled and congested skin will also benefit from tea tree as this oil can deeply cleanse pores and treat skin even the most sensitive types.

I have been a fan of Naruko’s Tea Tree line where I use their night gelly as spot treatment and clear lotion as a daily toner to keep spots and excess oil at bay especially during humid weather. So I was equally curious about Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask which is also a black active carbon mask that claims to soothe skin, control oils and treat spots and blemishes.

Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask  claims to prevent acne and control excess oils on skin by balancing oil secretion and water retention. This carbon mask also deeply cleans pores and promotes healthy skin metabolism. This tea tree mask can also tighten pores and promote elasticity, making skin soft and smooth and also reducing dull texture and complexion.

Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask Sheet Review:

Naruko’s Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask is from the well loved Naruko Tea Tree line that aims to combat spots, dullness and oiliness. I already have the clear lotion and night gelly so I was also expecting this black mask to be just as effective.

Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask Review

This active carbon mask is slippery and slimy, soaking up the rich tea tree essence, where there is none left inside the pouch. The sheet material is medium thickness and sturdy enough and in my experience, black masks offer maximum absorption of any essence especially gel type ones.

The essence is refreshingly cool and soothing, very calming to my skin. I tested this mask out when I had a red bump on my cheek. However, there is a very strong scent of medicinal, herbal tea tree and eucalyptus so if you are sensitive to scents, this might be offensive. I find this scent calming.

I placed this mask for 30 minutes and I felt its soothing and relaxing properties working. There is a slightly tack finish but I needed to gently pat the remaining essence on my face to absorb it.

After removing the sheet mask, my skin felt refreshed, deeply cleansed yet moisturized and most importantly, my skin is brighter, even toned and there is no redness whatsoever. The red bump is almost gone.

I’m glad I get to use Naruko’s Tea Tree line and I use the night gelly and now, this black mask to treat spots and blemishes that instantly go away after 12 hours. Although it did leave a slightly tacky finish, my skin was noticeably healthier and brighter.

This mask works good for oily and combination types and those who are battling acne. This mask can balance skin oils, target redness and spots with its antiseptic and antibacterial properties and even make skin tone very even.

Truly impressed with this one and besides, Naruko has not yet failed to give me stellar and effective results that are also gentle on my skin. Plus, I love the botanical scent of Naruko products. I think this is better than an astringent sheet mask that targets spots since this can brighten and provide a good amount of moisture that does not leave an oily film.
