[Review] Nature Republic Argan Essential Deep Care Hair Pack

Nature Republic Argan Essential Deep Care Hair Pack Review:

I had been having bad hair days for over one year until one day, by chance, I saw a whole argan hair care collection in Nature Republic store. Argan oil is known for making the hair softer, silkier, more controlled (as opposed to wild and impossible to tame), so this collection has a very attractive point to it, right? I went in and the store worker said this is the product that, if used alone, would give quicker results. So how did that go for me?

First thing you should know, my pack is the big version. I have used the small one several times, but I liked it so much I thought to save me some trouble and just get the big one.

The big version has a protective lid so the product won’t get everywhere, the small version doesn’t.

The hair pack itself feels like a buttery cream. It even smells like argan butter cream! It is so pleasant.

You can see here, it’s exactly like a light but greasy face moisturizer.

To use you really must do it the way they said it, or it’ll have half the effect. First, wash your hair with shampoo, then towel dry the hair, then apply the mask in a sufficient amount. In my case I only apply it to the bottom half of my hair– if my hair was all dry, or all normal (or at least not oily on the scalp) then I would apply it everywhere.

Afterwards, you rinse it well with water, and if you want to use conditioner then you should use it afterwards, because a conditioner closes the hair… pores. I don’t know what else to call them?

You can see my hair before and after. Before, it was dry and separated awkwardly (on this day I washed my hair without using the mask). Afterwards let’s just say it is way prettier, when I used the mask.

This is a cult product for me, so I will definitely keep using it. My hair is very dense and dry on the lower part (Mediterranean hair) and this mask really helps it look prettier.

Korean tap water is of way worse quality than Portuguese one, so my hair has been damaged ever since I got here, and the difference of using the mask (as you can see in the previous picture) is too big for me to discard this product!

    • Thanks ^^ I use it every time I wash my hair, and wash it every two or three days in the morning. I have Mediterranean hair so after washing it if I don’t apply hair oil it lasts only for that day, on the next day it gets “cloudy” again. But if I use hair oil after washing (I use it mid-dry or fully dried) it lasts until I wash it again because it locks the moisture in!

  1. Hi there, may I know if you use this hair pack from your roots to ends? Did it leave a greasy feel on your hair if you do that? Thanks!

    • Hi! I usually don’t use it on my roots because I have another treatment there now. But I used it from root to end a few times when I’m out of the other treatment, and it’s completely fine, it makes the whole hair softer.
You know those people who have short hair and you can see pieces of hair sticking up like a unicorn horn? I have long hair so you don’t notice them but I have those things. When i use it on my roots those horns are less strong (more fluffy?) so I can control them better.
But especially if you use it on your roots you have to pay attention to wash it off well. It doesn’t feel greasy if you do it well, but if you don’t your hair might get greasy faster than it normally would. When you wash this off with water there is a point when you stop feeling the creamy feeling and start feeling just soft hair, that’s when you know it’s well washed off.

      Thanks for asking ^^

  2. Hello. Can we apply this hair product when our hair is half dry-wet or only fully dry? Because my hair gets extremely frizzy and bushy if its fully dry.

    • Hi ^^ So far I have used Syoss (for colored hair), Innisfree for oily scalp, and Le Chatelard (moisturizing) with this mask. Currently I’m using the Innisfree one again, I just don’t change the mask because it really is very important in my hair’s case
