[Review] Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Cleansing Water

Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Cleansing Water Review:

I got this item as a part of a cleansing kit, but this (and one of the other products) was the whole reason why I got the kit! I am attracted to green packages that subconsciously promise our brain natural goods to our skin.

Thesize of the bottle isn’t too big, meaning it doesn’t trap you to this product for too long, and the price is low enough that if you do want to stick to it you can purchase it again. So I wanted to give it a try. Also, for those who decide to keep using it, there’s a bigger size. I do appreciate when stores make 2 sized products.

Nature Republic Jeju Sparkling Cleansing Water Review:

Since this is a cleansing water we have to try it as a basic cleanser and also as a makeup remover, right? So, starting with the basics!

Opening the pack, it’s a pretty standard cleansing water type. They either come in a normal bottle you squeeze onto a cotton pad, or with a press down button that releases the water onto the pad. Mine is the small pack. The big version is just a bottle which you tilt onto your cotton pad.

Simple step. I had to press it two times to have enough amount of product on the pad. But it squeezes well and not all over, so it is a decently constructed bottle.

This is what we are starting off with. I’m not wearing any makeup but my skin has a full skin treatment, a whitening cream, sun screen, and a whole day of brewing facial grease.

Even though my face seemed relatively decent for a whole day skin, you can see on the cotton pad all the dirt, and a slight yellow tone over the white – that was my facial grease, gross but at least it’s gone! And the second picture is my skin after cleansing and watering it, as the instructions say.

It doesn’t hurt my skin at all, since it’s purpose is mainly to clean “each and every thing”. I have tried cleansing waters that were focused on make up removing, and ones that were focused on pore care, they both kind of dried the skin and burned a little.

This one is pretty standard, the only thing you actually feel is depending on the type of cotton pad you use! A rougher one, you feel it rough, a soft fluffy one and you feel it soft and fluffy.

These are eye shadows (3), mascara (waterproof), and a lipstick. On the top half of them I put settling powder.

First I tried to remove the bottom half, that didn’t have the settling powder, and it cleaned everything with one swipe – except for the mascara. Then I tried to clean the top part which had the settling powder. It cleaned well, but not on the first swipe, I had to do it a couple of times.

However, the mascara is very persistent, even though this is a make up removing cleansing water. But I grabbed a new cotton pad, got some more product on it, and rubbed it on the mascara with a rolling motion, but very gently, and the mascara eventually came out without effort.

You can see here everything on the cotton pad. It doesn’t get everywhere on your fingers, tinting them with your makeup, as some liquid make up removers do.

The scent is discreet enough that I had to sniff the cotton pad to be able to feel it properly, and it gently smells like bubblegum! I can’t say I don’t love that.

I really wanted to try a cleansing water that don’t irritate my skin, since when you’re tired a cleansing water can do everything when it comes to the cleansing part of your skin care!

And in the end, I did enjoy this one – it’s very gentle on the skin (I’ll thank that to the centella asiatica and the ceramide). For a lower budget facial cleanser, it pleased me a lot, and I will use it well, and most likely repurchase it.
